Pix Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 @Mademoiselle V. Cointreau is a perfect choice to match with the VC  For the Panerai, I would have gone for a Limoncello... Blended ??
Pix Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Tonight... Sorry, focus is bad... my second glass...
tmg Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Monday. I timed how long it takes to walk my kid to school -just under six minutes after the frequent stops to collect leaves
Golfman Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 MONDAY I am not a wisky fan, but really like this pic I prefer drinking wine (remember, i am french ) I almost forget to talk about my NavB (with the "second strap")
Victoria Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 I am not a wisky fan, but really like this pic Thanks TWP, Scoobs, Golfman for the compliment! It's been a hit so far, in all the forums. I'm very gratified, considering it was a last-minute-what-can-I-do-differently idea. TWP, I'll tell Gabo to make a Glenlivet strap! I prefer drinking wine (remember, i am french ) I'm not a drinker, but I prefer the grape, too. Although whisky isn't that bad, actually. Neat, of course. I almost forget to talk about my NavB (with the "second strap") From Tourby? Your straps are fantastic... Hope Vlydog is paying attention, because this watch is flawless.
Golfman Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 From Tourby? Your straps are fantastic... Hope Vlydog is paying attention, because this watch is flawless. Sorry it's not from Tourby It's a Steinhart NavB Limited Edition (don't tell about it to Tourby ... i know that he doesn't like Steinhart watches )
section8 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Picked up my first 'new to me' piece since the DSN 177, only pic so far: Got from another forum member in an excellent transaction. I think the date wheel is kind of silver though or maybe it's my eyes? Needs CG mods and I may do a gen crown/tube and drill the lug holes for gen springbars but the ETA movement keeps SOLID time even after the shipping.
Seadweller4000 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 (edited) From Tourby? Your straps are fantastic... Hope Vlydog is paying attention, because this watch is flawless. I think it is an Azimuth [EDIT: STEINHART. Took me too long to write this post]... Looks SO AWESOME, I think it is the best Big Pilot hommage out there! Wearing my 111 Edited December 17, 2007 by Seadweller4000

freddy333 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Posted December 17, 2007 Golfman - Nice Steinhart. Love the case & tools. It even has my number (333). For me, serious work requires a serious watch

hiker01 Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Maybe in 2008 I will find another rep watch made with the quality that this HBB is. That would be great! That's a gorgeous watch! I need to get one of those! Please PM me who you got it from and the watch details! Thanks! Jackyl! Is that a PAM 064? How heavy is that with the SS bracelet? Here's mine for the rest of the week.......I haven't taken it off since I got it Sunday!
Golfman Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 After 2 days with the NavB, it's time for a little Rolex wristime
dluddy Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Was wearing my 217 with my matching Pre-V Belt But then the mailman delivered my PAV91 so I had to try it on - kind of like it on the 089 - even though it is destined for my 027 when it comes back from Ziggy
Victoria Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 Was wearing my 217 with my matching Pre-V Belt LOL! That's such an unusual photo, Dluddy. Ever so slightly sensual. Oh, I thought you had one already? Who was it that showed his PAV 91 the other day? Great strap, great photo.
slai Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 This will also be posted in the midweek wristcheck when the time comes.
