RULES - High End Sales

Recommended Posts

Rules for High End Sales:

  • The Admin Team must approve all sales over $1,500.00 prior to the Listing
  • We will use a Admin Panel decision process
  • Approval will be based on the following:
    • Time on the Forum
    • Prior Sales History
      • Post Count and Quality

        • Membership & Time on other Forums

          • TimeZone
          • Paneristi
          • e-Bay with quality feedback
          • etc...
          • [*]We may require personal information as well

[*]This information will be available to any potential buyers [but not to general membership]

The purpose of these rules is to protect our membership. As one of our moderators stated so well - "It is so incredibly easy for someone to breeze in here, prey on the sense of trust and walk out the door with 5k."

However, with all that said, at the end of the day the transaction is between the buyer and the seller. It is up to both parties to feel comfortable and secure with the transaction. RWG is not responsible for sales. Use common sense - PLEASE!

            Thanks for your understanding...

            RWG Admin Team

Great decision by the admin team, good work guys :)

Thanks guys.

That is why we're here in fact: protect the community.

Having said that, highly priced franken might be a good deal for those who have the cash.

But, hey, when it comes to such amounts, nobody wants that everything goes out of control, right :D

We don't do others what we don't like to be done to us also... and a having a secure place where to hang out in the net is very comforting... the idea is that transactions are clear, honest and carried away by educated, healthy, sane, good looking, intelligent respectful gentlemen.

so keep it nice, you guys deserve it.

cheers!

Chino.

This was a terrific decision on the part of the admin team. I for one know that the cost of building a quality piece can be very expensive; however, at the same time I do not recommend anyone to consider that type of expense without first having a thorough knowledge of what they're buying. I personally have found that only years of research and learning can acquire that. However, the enjoyment I've found in learning and finding and building is far greater than just throwing down a wad of money and buying something. :)

Nice move. There was an interesting piece for sale last night but it looks like the thread got deleted. Did that contribute to the new rules?

@slai,

Yes, there have been a few interesting offers of late.

We have set a number invisible, pending confirmation of various points, and advices from the sellers.

When/if we are satisfied with those responses, we will make them visible again.

We do however reinforce that the ultimate decision to outlay funds on any purchase, rests with the buyer.

An old adage has been, "If you can't afford to loose the $$, don't spend 'em"

there are reps offered by our dealers that come near the 1k price, so if you take that piece and overhaul it to a franken it's price would climb far over the 1k limit, that's only one reason why the limit imposed is over the thousand.

regards all.
