I edited my above images to include matching strap stitching....did brodie's for him too. :)

Great stuff! Thanks very much :)

This is the one I like best of all:

I still think a blood red would be better, and with the subdial hands painted too, reminds me of that Chopard watch....

I presume that if a group buy was set up, and The Zigmeister was doing all the work himself, he could do whatever configurations people wanted...? :p

Okay last one (wish I could edit my posts). I just don't want to do work today.

Blue is too dark - highlight by definition needs to be bright. Anyway no need to photoshop when you have a real pic to work from ;)

So Zig, now you've seen sense :p, just let me know when you're open for business. You know like the winner of a design competition when all the other entrants were clamouring for hideous red or awful orange :whistling:

Well here is what I did when I got home today...

I tried to blue the seconds hand with by careful application from my micro torch, but all I ended up doing was turning it blue but in the process softening it up to the consistancy of lead...so that hand is in the scrap bin.

Looking through my spares, I found a already blued genuine hand (ie not painted blue), I installed it, and then painted the subdial to see what the results would be...here is it...

Looks really sweet, much better to have a metal blue second hand than paint it I think, it catches the light really well :)

I still think you need the same metal blue subdial hands to go with it, for legibility if anything else! B)

Great pics and an awesome project...but some1 needs to source a proper sapphire crystal for such a nice watch...the majority of us have mineral on our 212's.

this is which i like.

i've seen these images last year on paneristi forum and started my own 212 pvd project.

still i'm waiting for the upgrade 212 dial.

lol... This is actually the coolest watch i've seen in a bit.

I kind've like the 100% stealth look. Good choice on the replacement chrono hand.

I know I'm pulling this post out of the dead, but DAYUMMNN that is one gorgeous 212! The 212 was already one of my fav Pams, but your stealth treatment takes it to a level that Panerai couldn't hope to go themselves. Incredible work The Zigmeister!

I cant believe I missed this one...fantastic work as always Zigmeister. I like the bumble bee Idea that MIA member Toadtorrent made In reference. Love my 253 btw.

Reguardless...beautiful work.

The sweep chrono hand should definitely be either red or orange. I love the way has is. I may have to get a 212 or alike to do something like this to. Heck the Firenze company should do something like this
