siesta181 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Our Commie frens need to rep this.... and quick
dadog13 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 I like a lot the vintage PloProf... there is a hommage of this one made by Ocean7...it's in the 1k range...
mastergod Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 First Ocean 7 got the message. Then Omega got the message. Now - hopefully - the reppers will get the message. Looking forward to the PPv3! MG
lazarini Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 Ill go out on the limb here and say that this watch is plain ugly That said one mans trash is other mans treasure... Be gentle on me now just expressing my personal opinion Laz
Guest asim Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 lol i can't disagree with lazarini. The Speedy they just brought out is beautiful, but this is not my taste. The Swiss retail price for the rubber strap watches is 8,400 Swiss Francs and the metal bracelet is 200 Swiss Francs more. serious?
By-Tor Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 That is very ugly watch, I agree. But amazingly cool at that. THAT should be the Bond watch... imagine the endless possibilities with that button.
chefcook Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one, I need one!!!!!
valerian Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Am I allowed to say this? I thinks it's freightening. They should have a permission to sell war material for this. Yours kindly Valerian
mastergod Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 THAT should be the Bond watch... Agree, By-Tor. Very cool Bond watch. Not improbable.
asiparks Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 (edited) uuummmm....I love it but unless it was a $200 rep, I'd go for the $900 Ocean 7 version with the sexy lumed sapphire bezel insert... ocean 7 version Edited April 2, 2009 by asiparks
tintin Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 No Omega has ever made me look twice... this one is hypnotizing me, character, presence, history, durability, movement. Got it all! Yes, please rep it.
dluddy Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Here is a good link to get a little bit of PloProf history http://www.deskdivers.com/Site/PloProf.html
docblackrock Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 Privileged to have a preview look at this new Ploprof today.... Not on the classic 'sharkproof' bracelet, but on the new black rubber strap (they do one in orange too naturally). Utterly speechless. It's a huge MF even by divers' watch standards, but it's also gorgeous in that most ugly of ways. The orange bezel-lock button (out of sight in this pic below), well it's difficult to stop playing with it....push, click, release....repeat ad infinitum. I would buy one in a heartbeat.
geo1nah2a Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 WOW!!! I want one! Press kit here: http://www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=239&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=1119&tx_ttnews[backPid]=224
chris5264 Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 I like the looks of this watch but not sure how functional the bezel lock is..I had a squale which was very similar,,,it took both hands to move the bezel....in a practical sense, if you use the bezel I don't think the design is very good. However, IMO I think it looks great..
