Toadtorrent Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 I have been having an email exchange with Jay regarding another order, and he informs me that a new Superocean Heritage Chrono will be coming out in the next few days. That will be exciting...stay tuned!!
Dizzy Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 WHats going on!?!? Whats all this talk of new Breitlings!? very exciting
UB7 Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Very interesting, and great news! But i dont understand how they can rep this considering the gen isnt even out? Crossing my fingers that it wont cost me an arm and a leg
triplehd Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Jay and I had exchanged emails last month regarding new watches. He had told me as well about the Heritage Chrono, which is defintely on my list. I was thinking about picking up non-chrono version, but will wait for the Chrono version.
italiano17771 Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 they bought the genuine non chrono version to rep, which is the same size as the chrono....should be an easy rep to make since they already have the case....just need to change the case a bit and produce some dials. im guessing the price will not be over $300.
ta8088 Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 Hmm will have to keep on eye on this. I'm liking all this talk of new Breitlings (not that I need anymore, I have a dozen already). Now if they would just do a Skyland and do the Ocean Racer strap. I just can't bring myself to spend $350 for a piece of rubber and a deployment clasp.
fitmic Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 here it is: (advertised on watchmark site) Am I doing anything wrong??? I cannot enter his site, but the pic you provided works. All I get when trying to access the site is: The system cannot find the file specified.
b16a2 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 A Lello datewheel and that would be very good indeed! However I much prefer the non-chrono version, I think the chrono's over complicate it on this one.
Guest avitt Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I heard that it will be available on the 5.5th of next month
rodwc Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 $288 Not a bad price. Try this link. http://www.timeshops.net/Breitling_Superoc...8K_1331-193.htm Are you sure the gen isn`t out yet ???? http://thewatchery.blogspot.com/2008/01/br...n-heritage.html
steppen Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 not my cup of tea, the chrono ruins the simplicity of the heritage, but anyway, on a side note, has anyone heard about when the skyland is coming out, i kept hearing things from the dealers, but the date comes and goes and nobody seems to know
Mickey Padge Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 PT has posted a Breitling Superocean Heritage chronograph for sale looks pretty good to me! Link here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=74121&hl= Pictures: Genuine black dial: Looks like you could get Lello's Breitling DW and you would be owning a damn accurate replica! Genuine rubber straps can be purchased quite cheap. This is an easy project watch to perfect, and seems to have a better dial than the non chrono version too! Great price too for a newly released watch, which is nice..... Any thoughts? Feel free to add more genuine pictures for comparison! Cheers
takashi Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Indeed... This one looks very good and a good candidate for lello's DW upgrade. Anyway, is the AR double sided? I have seen PT's listing, it seems to come with low beat Asian 7750 (good thing if you are planning to swap to ETA7750).
dadog13 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 (edited) a sort of discussion is already going on here : link Edited May 14, 2008 by dadog13

Mickey Padge Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Indeed... This one looks very good and a good candidate for lello's DW upgrade. Anyway, is the AR double sided? I have seen PT's listing, it seems to come with low beat Asian 7750 (good thing if you are planning to swap to ETA7750). Can't quite tell regarding the AR, but from the pictures the dial seems very clear. The movements pictures (blue/brown version) do show a regulator, I wonder if they are like the new Chopard? Which has the new high beat 7750, plus functional regulator? I image PT could answer these questions for us
Mickey Padge Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 *edited* Thanks for the link Watchmark has them for sale too then, and lists them as high beat. Pictures seem to indicate double AR to me....
takashi Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Yes, I have asked him about this one too. However, based on the datefont, it looks like low beat ETA movement. My old Breitling Avenger Chrono comes with exactly the same datefont. Lets hope for it to come with hi beat 7750.
Mickey Padge Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 This picture would appear to confirm double AR, no? I would be suprised if they were low beat, but you never know....
