  1. I'm updating with images of this watch revised, as it has been rebuilt with a new movement and dial. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures of the progression on this one like I usually do (as I was preoccupied with just getting it all together), so all you guys get is 4 images Maybe the next time I do a tear down, I'll take the time to capture this one properly in various stages of undress...

  5. It looks to me like a good used gen tritium 16610 dial It's not an LV dial though... 16610LV's came with luminova and use the maxi-dial (much larger markers and fatter hands.)

  6. Hi all, Stumbled to RWG while googling around about replica watches. Excited to be here as there seems to be a lot of useful information to learn about!

  7. Definitely bracelet, looks great! I've tried out leather on my 1016 but didn't really like it. Currently have it on nato instead, gives a more relaxed look:

  8. Hi folks. I post this once or twice a year ... you come in here looking for info but you're not familiar with the layout of the place, and it seems like a big maze. Maybe you find a sub-section you are looking for and start reading .. but consider this: almost everyone comes here looking for one thing, but if you only look for one thing, you'll never know about some amazing off-brand or model you'd never heard of. In short, you don't know what you don't know! How can you look at everything people are talking about, without trolling through every forum? the View New Posts button! If you click it, it will show you every topic posted today, or the last week .. You don't have to navigate the forum, and you are instantly shown what is a hot topic of conversation. It's in the upper right corner of the screen .. try it!

  9. For what e-mail did you contact Andrew? Beware, there are some scam websites (they use the same name) that try to be the real TrustyTime. This is the correct one: www.ttw168.com About the watch, it's not new, it's in fact "old". ;-) Take a look (it's no the GMT, but it will give you an idea): http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/4509-complete-omega-seamaster-bond-moddingadjustment-guide/ My best regards,

  10. Personally I don't like the 1016-leather combo, doesn't work for me since the Explorer is the pure toolwatch. Over all I don't like the 7206 that much and I think I would put a 7836 or 78360 on it. Imho it would be more correct since you have a service dial. I would sell the 7206 and get a nice 7836/78360 instead and you have probably a bit money left as well.

  15. Well, the first one you'll have some trouble recreating... it's a gen from 1958. The second one sprung from the hands of our very own Big Dazza, via Denimhead, in roughly that form. I did some enhanced lovin' on it and pooched the movement (hence the spa). Big D is a newly minted Modder here in the hallowed halls of RWG. Give him a whistle and I bet he'll set you up.
