  3. Here's 4 of mine I've still got 3 more being modded these are as close as you can get with OEM parts and OEM Bands / Straps. They also keep Mint time, and were purchased through M2M deals and these members know what they are talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. I had the same reply with my (BB movement problem) i was not prepared to risk sending it back and requested a replacement movement this was refused as they can not send a spare movement, i replied and i got only silence i could have sent them the sick movement if they wanted , i was dissapointed and had to fix the movement to my expense the buyer (has to accept this) in the rep world and returning the watch will cost the buyer not to mention again the custom risks but then again i have been down this road a few times now !

  9. They don't need to rep. 90% of the parts I buy from harley-davidson say made in china. As are shirts, shoes, electronics etc. I don't think american businesses can afford to build the parts here. Labor is way too high. S--t, the small flags I bought for the 4th of july, yep, made in china

  14. Happily disappointed, I wanted this FFF but neither for 500 nor for 800 so I´ll save the 300 I would´ve spent altogether - or than I go the Seiko Fifty Fathoms way on e-bay suggested by Mike (thanks for the hint) and have to wait almost no time:) Haven´t got the AP Roo either because when it gets to the 500´s price range plus shipping I expect what Toro mentioned: "Well, I expect perfection for that price. Unfortunately a movement fail, a misaligned bezel, a scratch on the dial, poorly applied lume it will be a huge disappointment. And no matter how good it is, it will still be a rep" and glad to see a TD mention this - thumbs up . I did never complain on a 128´rep and expectations are lower. BTW on Amazon You send it back if You don´t like it and in a weeks time have Your 128´or 500´ refund and that´s it. Gladly never had to send anything back because everything comes and works as pictured/described anyway. All misaligned bezel/stickers/pearl ones or otherwise flawed should/could be sold at a seriously cheaper price like "2nd choice ware" or something like that anyways, there would be buyers too - but happy buyers for knowing they get it with a flaw but at better price. Like it is now I think the factories (and TD´s) loose much more money from people just turning their backs to reps altogether and forever after getting the 3rd flawed one and loosing their patience. Just my thoughts on that. 800!!??!

  15. Rolex submariner bracelets are not that big a deal, so don't worry about wearing a rep bracelet, esp. a TC one- no one will notice. I wear a gen R serial 16610 a lot of the time and I took off the brand new 93150 bracelet that came with it (the R serial is a 25 yr old 16610- the first one that came out in 1988) and put on a rep 93150 with a gen clasp and the 501B end pieces that came w/ the new bracelet- you can't tell the difference except that the rep isn't in pristine shape. I also can't tell any difference in the color of the 904L steel case on the 16610 gen and the rep 316L bracelet. Until recently the all of the Rolex bracelets were 316L steel- just recently with the newer models did they switch to 904L. Enjoy your TC and get a watchmaker to change out the bezel insert if you buy a gen one. It's not that hard to do, but you need the right tools and a watchmaker should do it for you for $10-20. Cheaper than buying a press and the other tools you'll need.

  16. No problem Btw - they are actually to put pressure on the gear driving the 24 HR hand, rather than space them. It's not under the plate like the others, so if it's not pressed down it rides up and stops making contact with the calendar gear that's driving it. So it's supposed to put gentle pressure on that gear and hold it in place, using the dial as the source of pressure. So you want a slight bend in the washer to make sure it's contacting the dial and 24hr hand gear at the same time when the dial is on. But not so much pressure that it stops it from turning smoothly - takes a little experimentation Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

  17. AP Diver V3 may be the best rep of all time Other notable great recent reps Pam 243 noob v2 Pam 111 noob v3 Pam 029 noob v2 JLC Navy Seals Diver There has been some huge improvements lately but also additional challenges Pros: genuine superlume now being used by rep factories in many but not all cases, much better ar, finer details 10x better Cons: recent crackdowns have changed things. Some watches stay back ordered for months, some dealers are not selling certain watches/factories, pricing is going up You can no longer pick your dealer and then pick your watch You have to pick your watch down to whet actual factory makes it than choose a dealer that may best for that watch Anything noob factory angus and toro seem to be best connected Anything h factory josh and Andrew seem to be the best connected

  18. I'm with you on this A! I love these white dialed 6542s Here's one I ran across- maybe it's a 1675- some of the early ones in gold didn't have cg's, dauphine hands are early, black bezel insert is maybe later, but the white nipple dial looks cool!
