  1. I understand what your saying. The thing im asking is, why give money to someone that robbed from members here. Thats like md2020 selling stuff on ebay.

  2. Or if you can't wait forget the classic sub and go for the Seadweller which is very accurate and under $200. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. You appear to be getting yourself mixed up. First you say that this information is "one discrepancy", so you are admitting it was an issue, and then you say it's "unfounded" and "not true". As it is true, as you admit it, it is neither unfounded not "not true". So removing your conflicting statements, what we are left with it "Fraggle, do not buy from me." which I have absolutely no problem doing at all.

  4. If that is indeed the case he can carry on and have fun taunting them. There is another group of people who deserve even more exposure, those who sell reps as genuine watches and do their best to rip off innocent people. If FWB targeted those I'm sure basically everyone here would genuinely welcome him, we buy reps and sell them as reps and admit to anyone who asks that they're reps and hate those who rip others off. The only problem I've got with FWB is his attire and language. Generation and continent difference maybe, but he does his credibility no favours with how he comes across.

  5. this is not against you, but my policy is unless a amember has been around for a while and has made a contribution to the forum with useful postings, as well as good feedback from other members, the use of bank transfers and WU are non starters for me.

  6. From this standup member of the community to have to come out and write about how he was cheated in the past by the OP says a lot. That's enough for me and any other buyers likely to stay away. Plus no PayPal recourse is a no deal. Seems very questionable right off the bat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I don't think DW ever really went away. His 7032 is, despite its quirks, one of the best you can buy. If you must have one, all I can suggest is not to order more than one thing at a time.

  10. I have no problems with minuteman hanging around, if he is civil, which he seems to be now, and is a contributor to the forum. AFA the folks who wear replicas and try to pass them off as genuine, well, that's about the same as going over to the Vintage Rolex forum and posting your MBW 1680. You are going to get hammered, and frankly, you get what you deserve. I believe that he vast majority of contributing members here, are not trying to pass their reps off as a genuine watch, and I say contributing, because there are literally thousands of people who sign up for this and other rep forums come on board, read a few posts and find out where to buy a good rep, leave, with a zero post count, never to be seen or heard from again. I cannot speak for these folks, because they never made a contribution at all. I would guess however that a fairly large number of these "pass through" individuals do indeed buy a rep watch to impress their friends with their "real" Rolex, AP,Omega, etc. What these people do with their watches is their own business, but I don't believe that you should implicate the entire rep community because of what some folks do. As far as the rep community being a criminal activity and supporting organized crime, I'm afraid that you are going to have to show me some real statistics to support that theory. I very seriously doubt that the replica watch industry in China is anything but industrious entrepreneurs who are trying to get ahead in the world, like everyone else. I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of the replica watches come out of the very same factories that produce the millions of low end to mid range watches that you see in Dept. stores, WalMart and other discount stores. The Chinese government is turning a blind eye to all of the replica/ counterfeiting business, simply because it's good for the economy, creates and maintains jobs, and when people have jobs, they aren't out in the streets protesting and creating social upheaval, which is one thing that the Chinese government fears the most. As long as people from other parts of the world are buying the goods produced in China, whether they be legitimate or counterfeit, the Chinese authorities could not give a good damn what we think, what Rolex thinks, or any of the other "luxury good" companies think. They need the Chinese more than the Chinese need them!! And as far as the theory advanced that we are supporting child labor and enslaved laborers, I can tell you I'm 100% convinced that you are much more likely to be supporting child labor with your purchases of any article of clothing that isn't made in the USA, and I mean anything from Polo Ralph Lauren to the T shirts you buy at Target.

  11. Why do I have my suspicions that Minuteman is FakeWatchBusta?

  12. I think your comment is too general and indeed due diligence should be undertaken, gift or no gift as PP can be used fraudulently. As I have learnt quickly here, buy the seller first then the watch, we recently exposed Messi10 and got him banned, if you know of guys pulling tricks you must also do the same to protect us all. 13. Welcome aboard, mate. A word of advice, don't mention the "s" word too much (spanking) or you'll bring Miss Understood out of her gin-induced stupor.

  14. When setting your date on a an asian 2836-2 I suggest you do it this way. I have noticed a problem with the date corrector on the asian movement, since I have replaced several over the last couple of months. Ive noticed Asian movements have a very weak date corrector gear, that is why so many have problems with the date breaking and not changing. One simple practice should help keep your date wheel from breaking. Photo 1 shows the correct position for the date corrector when you are setting your date. Photo 2 shows the date corrector position right after the date has flipped over. If you try to roll the date forward in that position, the calandar wheel puts undue pressure on an already weak part of the date change assy. Simply roll your time forward closer to noon before you change the date, that will help to keep your date changing for a long time to come. Not a bad pratice for the swiss either. Just sharing some info with forum. You will notice less resitance when the time is close to noon, you can fell the tension when you try to set it close to midnight.

  15. You should set the time first. Roll forward until the date changes, then you know your time is AM, set the time, then roll the date forward to that day, done

  16. If you wear a watch in rotation, you don't know if it's close to midnight or noon when you pick it up. If you set the time first, you will know if its midnight or noon. Let's say you haven't worn it for a week. You pick it up and it died at 5 mins before 12. If you set the time ,and it changes immediately that was midnight. If it doesn't it was noon. Don't change it anywhere close to midnight. That one small practice, can save you from doing a repair
