  1. Getting it wet Oh and a group wet shot
  2. Looks very good what sort of water resistance could be expected from this case, as good as the original?
  3. I have re-lumed all my vintages with super luminover because it is only half the tool if i cant read it in the dark, the purists may hate it but i often like to read the time at night in fact some times i like to shut my self in a dark room just for the fun of it. Thia is my double red If it was affordable i would snap up a lumi dial
  4. I am going with MJMJ, Cats and allergy doc today but i wish i was with Hikes sig!!!!!!! I mean what could you do with that?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
  5. It may be both yet UBI as i have to raise some cash for a brand new harley crank, cam, front belt drive pully and some clutch plates and a full gasket set, looking at nearly 2k
  6. Some very good points in there, Patek and IWC definatly get my vote with their statement to keep every watch they ever made working where as rolex! it really surprises me that Rolex have not reversed their policy due to the amount of money available in the vintage market, who in there right mind will would pay 5 figures in the future for a seadweller that they cant keep running ? Oh i just thought about that, yep the same people that pay 5 figures for them today
  7. Hmm thinkg looking a bit different, is the share topic bit new, and the notification
  8. Oh my those photos bring back some memories I can tell you, Memories of great time, VERY GREAT TIMES, and great friends!!!!! The menu you will be missing if you dont attend Entr
  9. I think you may be looking for the DG 3804 but that is the only GMT asian i can find at cousins after 12 pages of looking
  10. The gen mesh band is pretty thick and substantial I have never seen an after market one of any where near that thickness, it would be a massive step forward if the rep makers would rep it!
  11. I believe that that part if you still have it can be repaired with glue and maybe a little metal work like peaning the back side of the pin to ensure it holds
  12. Looks like they are just talking about canal street type shit
  13. I managed to wear my ingy for abouyt 6 hours the other day till i had to swap back to the 1680, and that was the gen ingy with new hand made strap, i need to speak to Uwe about new AR on my rep ingy soon
  14. Just my usual beater (I used to find it so strange when Freddy said that about his SD but now i know!)
  15. You dont have to be a company to buy from cousinsuk but they have a check box to click to say you are and you have to click that, it is all to do with statuary rights of private buyers and business buyers, just click it as yes and you will get what you ordered no problems, but the movement listed above is not the GMT movement that you need. If you could get a set of ETA size hands you could always upgrade to an ETA 2893-2 movement
  16. The answer to that question changes every time you get a new watch, now if you want to know which watches are best:- Value construction accuracy to original then there are a number of posts about it but a good start would be looking at the:- IWC INGY Breitling SOSF WM9 Subs Railmaster 39mm
  17. By looking at the pictures i see no reason why this should not be water resistant, i would not be surprised if it could pass 200m or more with out problems
  18. Nice watch Andrew if you are selling this then it should be in the Fund raiser sales section of if you were a supporting member then in the watches sales section. Am i right in saying this is the 45mm version and of the same construction as the UPO?
  19. The crown guards on the gen stays with in the guides in the case so there is no weight on the crown when setting ect, i am assuming that is also the case with the rep
