I know this isn't a sales thread but I responded here since he asked... I can send pics OP... also have GREAT photos of every step of the service including comments on parts replaced etc. Nice to see that process... may post anyhow for member education...
I'm about to sell this one I bought from Modelizer. Just had a full service but in same condition as in Modelzer's post as I've not worn it much. Now on $150 black croc strap and new rep deploy for $650,
Good to know. FINALLY - if my PR on the 027a doesn't go up to 40 exactly, how do I get it to do so (I mean if I cannot handwind it that high). Is it a hand reset like one might do for chronohands that are a tad off "0"?
I know we had a member buy something on the JAGathon and couldn't pay by gift (from Germany I think)... so, that can be the case - but yup, gotta do whatever to stay protected. WesternUnion or... whatever...
Just got some new shoes to go with my only PAM (a nice 027a (running an ETA 2896 with Soprod PR). This is a Tobacco hornback from Kain Heritage. I used a touch of Allen Edmonds Light Brown shoe polish to make her a bit ruddier and swaped out the buckle as HK's is too big for my taste. I'm very pleased with the combo. I think a good strap makes all the difference with most watches but especially with PAMs. The golden stiching goes nicely with the hour markers and the roughness of the hornback contrasts the cool shine of the plished Stainless case. Cheers.

I'm not a 9th circler but this one came close - and just once upon a time (i.e. I sold her).
I'm driving down the road in my 2003 Corolla with a brand new JCL Chono on me wristi.
Happy as a clam, broke as a lamb.
p.s. "her" equals the JLC not the Corolla or... my wife.
For as long as you can, find yourself enthralled with the one and then, when another one steals your eye ... you know that (on your wrist) another one bites the dust... for myself at least, it happens... and... the more time I spend on these dog-gone forms the faster and more frequently so.
Happy for your present happiness though. Wear her well.
the JLC can be long (not wide) on the wrist, but if it fits I think Chief's recommendation is a good one. Blancpain also has some nice looking GMT's but can't recall if they can come on a bracelet.
