  1. oops- see I haven't added a hyper to a write up on my 3717. I can do pics anytime - and/or just look up toto' over on RepGeek. It's his beauty we're talking about). Watch is pretty much flawless.
  2. Hi all, Interested in trading Sporty to Dressy. I have a great 3717 (see my sig) I'd like to change out. Everything is gen but the movement (incl. the date wheel). Movement is a recently serviced ETA 7750 that keeps great time and comes on the great rep bracelet (have a gen bucklet for a strap also). Pressure tested to 100 m. Would like to trade for a 3714 (pref. -01 or for a panda (panda is black subs)... or reverse panda (white subs). Can add some cash if an all gen. Perhaps straight up trade for gen movement and gen/rep assemblage on the balance depending on the build/service etc. Hit me up by email or PM. Cheers.
  3. You guys are being WAY to hard on P... these were AAA grade, Swiss movements.
  4. Is a super FF on the way? Where can I read about it...expect to see it? That would be nice...I ESP. Like the new tribute to FF from BP.

  7. Not that this is a new topic of discussion (and maybe it's REALLY not new if someone already posted a link...) but, here's an article talking about the "holes" in things "Swiss". http://news.yahoo.com/puts-swiss-swiss-made-watch-142539262--sector.html
  8. Sometimes my phong is down - but I'm not worried - it usually comes back up.
  9. I got a couple SS Consellations at great prices 5-6 years ago. Now days - it's different. I am sure there have been times when I was getting lucky - and - just happened to be logged into ebay but I don't guess that counts.
  10. Can you post the original sales thread for reference and Z can you tell us anything special about the watch. Also, if there's specific locations (port city, your home town etc) maybe members in those locations can scan Craigslist as time allows. Sorry man. That bites big time!!!
  11. On the other hand, I hate it when I "loupe" a watch and it comes back pawned.
  12. Those first two pics made me want to reach for a wad of cod... lol
  13. The marriage may go up in value over time - the watch will not. Best of luck on both.
  14. I'm a US Customs officer; counterfiet goods division... On weekends I werk as a prufreader.
  15. make a quiz over the Posting guidelines. Noobs have to take te quiz and answer with a 90% passing grade. THEN, their accounts will allow them to post.
  16. Contact Genway at ewatchrepair.com Trustworthy guy - can almost fix anything. He's in San Jose and has done good work for me many times.

  18. Just thought to update my Sig profile (a Daytona1984-inspired SOTC listings). Though a rep site, here's my much loved Omega 311.30.42.30.13.001 (wow, couldn't they come up with a more "reasonable" model number?). This comes sporting a chocolate brown dial (a $600 or so premium over the same model with black face). She's not a limited edition by title, but Omega no longer has the "brownies" in their catalogue and only offered them for a few years (ending in 2012 I think). Omega made these in homege to a few of their original (321) black dials that turned a lovely brown over time. I paid their "premium" in the hope that only being available for a short while, they might gain some following. That being said, I saw several folk had modded their black-faced Speedys with Omega's Limited Edition Gemini dials. I loved the looked and wanted to build my own even though it mean sourcing a LE dial, broad arrow hands and bezel. Thankfully for all but my wallet Watchco (of Australia) listed most all of their Omega parts for sale on the bay so... I became poorer even if end result though was pleasing. When worn on a black strap the dial looks very different than on a bracelet. The black just pulls out the few standout dark areas of the dial. I liked that. However, I'd always wanted the rare-as-hens-teeth Speedy 1450 bracelet. One finally came along at a good price so - that's how she's worn for now. I think the dial still 'works' just fine. So, I'm happy to share this little friend with you and hope you enjoy the "show". Details: Movement: Manual wind, 1863 with Rhodium-plated finish. 48 hr power reserve. Case: SS with Sapphire front and back (hence the "Sapphire Sandwich" moniker) Pixels:
