About the same. The last modded EL 029b went for slightly more than that if my memory serves me right. Its the rarity rather than cost of watch itself. Its safe to say that you can souce for a 2893-2 movt (fxrandy's recent sourcing comes to mind) but how many successful 029/063 projects have we seen? in fact I see some of these movements back in the market after their unsuccesful attempt to put these movts in PAMs and Rolexes. But that's my price on my 029.... if it ever hits the sales section.

Yup its true that Lello's 7753 DWs can be difficult to work with...the numbers between "25" and "29" don't line up in the center. No such problem with his 2893 I have 2 ETA 7753 Daylights, PAM 250 and Panda PAM... both of which will go first before I sell the 029B. But that's just me...

Here's mine, EL 029B, chief cyclops, T48 crown, A series CG, The Zigmeister lumed, B222/500. This rep is top of my list. I would set a price of USD1.8k, high but i don't want to sell it.... yet. Shouldn't go below 1.5k in my humble opinion. Cheers S181

10 to 15 days is expected. Depends on where you are located in the US. You should get your watch anytime soon. Unless of coz its seized or stolen.

Can never get enough of the 250. I have 2 daylights and if I have to keep one, I'd keep the 250 everytime.

It was my first time ordering from them so I didn't want to appear to be a pesk to them. I'd rather be a pesk here.... lol. I'll wait.

Need some advice with regards to dealing / communicating with Jules Borel. Story is I ordered parts from them and some required to be backordered. Initial shipment has arrived mighty fast I must add. But there has been no news with regards to the backordered parts. I have ben re-assured by my local watchmakerthat JBis oneof the best supply houses there is right and I should not be worred at all. My question is how long would it take for me to get the backordered parts? 2 months? 3 months? If some members can share their experience when dealing with JB, that'll be much appreciated. Nice review mate.... and much thanks to FGD for taking this on. The dull or blunt hands is only noticeable when pictures of it are blown up. Doubt you can see when its installed on the watch. Also, the black hands and the black dial will camouflage this minor detail. Of course there's room for improvement for the nex run.... So when is it? Cheers S181

So i emabrked on my first Rollie project, a 2893 based McQueen. Some rollie vets have already mentioned the clearance problems and I am facing it now. Freaking hands just won't clear. SO I am hunting down some parts to increased the height of the hand posts. I am having problem tracking this particular part down... HOUR WHEEL, DOUBLE 24H HT 2.04 Any idea where I can get it? Jules Borel listed the part in their website but I just cannot add it to my cart. Cousins Uk does not have it on their parts website. Need help here. Thanks in advance. S181

Thanks for sharing MSub. Looks great overall. Always wondered how the screw down crown works... Now I know. I have some reservations especially with how the crown/crownguard is constructed. Given the past track record of numerous stripped crown and tubes, how would you rate the quality of the crown and its thread (especially the pitch of the thread). Is it more robust that previous Omega reps. Stripped crown and tubes scare the s h i t out of me.
