I still love my wife's Pasha de Cartier (white gold). She won't take it off...and it looks much better on the wrist than in any picture.

Hey Demon...you know my thoughts on this. I initially bought a smooth bezel DateJust for my mother and I thought it was pretty nice...so, I looked for one for myself. I was offered a fluted bezel Day Date and decided I'd try it out. And I must say, the fluted (or riveted as I've heard it stated) bezel was much nicer, in my opinion. It got many many compliments. I like how swissaddict stated it: Smooth - Datejust, Riveted - Day Date.

Rob, That was quite an amazing read...and, as stated, I don't know if there is anything that could be said to help...but, my thoughts and prayers go out to you. Don't wear fake sunglasses...you could harm your eyes. You never know what you're going to get. OAKLEY HALF WIRE - Somewhat hard to find these days (regular size). I think they are discontinued. But, there are a lot of the XL frames out there. I have 2 pair of these in the regular size. Blue/Black Iridium - looks sharp with a suit. And Silver Iridium with sport wear.

Well, I just read over all the posts in this thread and it reminds me why I keep coming back. First, I know the difficulty in this decision as I, too, am an Admin for a non-related forum. There are plenty of times that a very hard "executive decision" is to be made and there is a lot of thought in these actions...as well as time taken. I support this forum in any decision. Next, once again, I see some unconditional generosity that just makes this such a great place. I commend everyone involved. Lastly, C'mon Vic...love the pic, but...I just can't believe that one! This is quite interesting...what's with the tire people and watches? Years ago, my father told me he was going to get my mother a gift for her birthday...and he brought me with him. We show up to an old tire and hubcap shop in the middle of nowhere. He walks in to the front desk and greets the ownder. The guy goes in the back and comes out with a padded display tray full of watches. Gens, with tags still on them. He chose a ladies daydate, made a payment and we walked out. I never really asked questions...but, I always thought that was strange. Had to be stolen.
