  2. Ah, that brings back memories. Remember the GTG with SubFrog, Phoband and IronGambit...?
  3. Thanks for the great post - and congratulations on finishing the exams! Time to kick back and enjoy for sure. And at the end of the summer there's nothing to top off a quality degree like......returning for a post-grad degree...
  4. Welcome Chopper! Here's the real Chopper....sort of.... (NSF)
  5. Hi Raffo, Just to double-check the obvious... You have a tick next to the setting in My Controls > Email Settings, and then you subscribe to topics is that right? That's the bit to check. Failing that, it might be the emails not getting through to you (marked as spam or something)
  6. Sounds like we'll need Shundi's avatar as our spokeswoman And, er, a lot of excuses for her to jog
  7. Happy Birthday! And here's raising a glass to another....
  8. Looks like it's that time of the year again..... Where we all gather to celebrate one of the 364 days in the year that isn't TT's actual birthday
  9. For quality control purposes, periodic loan to GZ of the Swiss watch industry's in-movement pube detector http://www.rwg.cc/members/Hanky-Panky-rep-assem-t59607.html
  10. You may have read that the illegal download PIRATE PARTY captured 7% of the Swedish vote in the European Parliamentary elections last week, and will now have a Euro MP. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/0....win/index.html Is it time for the REPLICA PARTY to enter the fray? The job comes with several perks: - Pay and expenses of approximately US$700,000 Actually, that's pretty much the main perk. Oh, you don't have to actually do anything, or really turn up. The parliament in Strasbourg is not far from some of our members, and near some good GTG locations. I don't know if anyone wants to put their hand up for that. MANIFESTO: Any ideas on a manifesto? Here are some suggestions: - Tough new trade relations with Switzerland demanding: a. Relaxed ETA
  11. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen this...
  12. This is going to be about donkeys isn't it? Perhaps her husband dressed as a donkey? Perhaps looking cute - as in Eeyore cute? Sorry buddy. It just wouldn't happen. No man would stoop that low. How wrong was I?
  13. Cairns is a long way from anywhere else, if you head out chances are it'll be a long way away or not at all. It's kind of easier to get to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (or Tokyo!) from Cairns than some nearer places. Personally I wouldn't waste valuable holiday time doing overland from Cairns - it's about 550km's to Airlie Beach, and 1500km to Brisbane. Check out the prices of flights.
  14. Since the film came out before the rep....I'm guessing it's a gen
  15. My suggestion would not to be to get a faux chronograph as a gift. It seems more sensible to get a regular watch, and then you can have an Asian 21J movement in there to save some bucks. Run, don't walk, from the A7750 seconds at six Portuguese Chrono there - it has a reputation as a beautiful watch....which soon becomes a beautiful paperweight.
  16. Congratulations on the grail watch, and on winning the battle
  17. It's orange - tick! It's big - tick! It's IWC - tick! Love it!!
  18. Reading TeeJay's post I'm beginning to think I may have inadvertently invented a new psychiatric test..... I'm not sure what it's testing for, but I'm calling it the 'Cornerstone Psychiatric Assessment For TeeJayness'.
  19. I came across this in the watch news section of the site (we have a news section - who knew?), and thought it deserved special mention. I need say no more, other than to make clear that this is an actual watch that you're expected to want to buy:
  20. It's cool - I'm guessing that shouting to get their ATTENTION is part of the general plan
  21. He was probably intimidated by the sight of yours.... More seriously, best of luck on the job front
