  1. Yeah, been down that road a few times. If it's not puke, it's being out and getting peed on. The little one is fine, she has a change of clothes - it's Dad that has to walk around for the rest of the day covered in pee All part of the fun!
  2. What Michael Jackson sees in her, I'll never know.... What a freak!!
  3. You make it sound almost seedy It's not like the kids need the toys - plus we do give them TTK's Skype address for FREE. Ten bucks says that SubFrog would...
  4. Yeah, don't stress it. Everyone is in the same shoes, it'll all settle down and be a lot easier once classes start. Don't do the single malt thing, I think Ken has seen too many episodes of Inspector Morse - you'll be sharing your pipe next. I don't know if the comparison is valid - but at my halls the ground floor was all men for safety reasons, and then the floors above mixed. So the ground floor wasn't the source of social activity at all. It wasn't like everyone got along or even knew each others' names. I think foreign male students have a tougher time because in that stressful first week I think other folk stick with the herd and what they know. Strangely the Swedish girls didn't seem to have the same problem... But there's a whole weekend of live football matches coming up on a big screen not a million miles away from you.... grab a pint away you go... Our halls also organized a football team for kick arounds in that first week, just going door knocking seeing if anyone was up for it.
  5. This thread should be the motherload for you! http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...&hl=seagull NB: links below may be outdated now (haven't looked), but they were current for that discussion....
  6. My money for next year's prize is on Mr Kipling. My theory is that his fondant fancies have done more to defuse tense diplomatic negotiations and military stand-offs, and generally save the world from the brink of catastrophe than all of Betty Crocker's cakes combined. A controversial standpoint, obviously, but I'm not afraid to call it as I see it....
  7. No, York UK. That's why he (she...hehehe....) mentions it being full of British people.... Photos of the gymnasium? Must have been a fun evening....
  8. He also won a few pie-eating competitions in his day....
  9. Dutchy - never forget.... ....you look like a chick. Congrats on the new start at Uni! Now get back to the pub!
  10. Liked the Icelandic anti-heated-sidewalk riots too....
  11. Don't Seiko do something odd like this to make their 'Hardlex' crystals - some sort of 'toughening', or is that just hype?
  12. Sorry to hear that - I think the airlines have a special button they press when the last thing a passenger needs is more grief in their day...
  13. All jokes aside, and on a serious note (okay, I may be kidding...) The forum takes a great amount of technical expertise and planning from Admin, I thought you might be interested to see a peek of the 'roadmap' that is used for planning the development of the forum over the next 12 months: This is in contrast to, say, the RWI Roadmap: [All in jest boys... ]
  14. Exactly - he's planning to bring him down from the inside.
  15. Well, let's just say you have got see the next few shots in that photo shoot - IT GETS HOT!! Let's see if I can upload one.... Is it just me, or can anyone feel an 'asshat' is impending...
  16. We shouldn't leave our beloved and diminutive TT out of the fun. Here he is on 'red hat' day. (Ordinarily it's a blue hat). It's quite sweet, at mission control he has his own personal kiddy step so he can reach the faucets and the light switches too. Awwww.....
