The name of the next animal starts with a letter two after the last letter of the previous animal and has one more letter. Imagine you are in a room, no doors windows or anything, how do you get out?

Niiiice!!! What a pair - and great straps too.

Congrats!! Yes, both right! Now if only Steve McQueen had thought of that instead of trying to Evil Knievel his way over the barbed wire at border..... The answer to the other one is tortoise, by the way.
-
Ah, hint taken....I should probably let you know the answer, eh? Well you both get honorary correct answers for having a go, but the 'correct' answer is neither platypus nor squirrel. Here's another one to keep you busy: During the war, there was a bridge connecting Germany and Switzerland, and on the German side, there was a sentry tower with a guard in it. He would come out every three minutes like clockwork to check on the bridge, and he had orders to turn back anyone who tried to get into Germany, and shoot anyone trying to escape without a pass. There was a woman who desperately needed to get into Switzerland, and she knew she didn't have time to get a pass. It would take her at least six minutes to cross the bridge, but she managed to do it. How?

I don't believe there should be customs problems ordering into Dubai.

Moneygram, perhaps Ken. I think he accepts Moneybookers just fine. Hoping to use this myself since Paypal in foreign currencies is a pain in my ass - they hard link credit cards to each account and country, but people move around...

Daytona - Who is andrew? And how do I get in touch?
cornerstone replied to UB7's topic in General Discussion
Absolutely read up on the Daytona - of all reps this has the most notorious reputation for failure with the seconds as six. I see By-tor has reposted his excellent FAQ and buying guide on the Daytona: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=47527&hl= -
Need some guidance V.Womans watch (Wedding pre-gift)
cornerstone replied to DP8's topic in General Discussion
I absolutely second what Corgi has said. When I was looking for something for my partner I thought I could pick out a watch she would like, then thought to ask her, and just as well because I was WAAAAY off.... I hit upon a good idea - I asked her to pick whatever watch she wanted from any gen in the world - so she was looking at a gen watch site (to help me find the type of rep that was closest to her preferences - she knows it's a rep I'm buying). And goddam if she didn't pick out the FM Ladies Conquistador - out of every gen there was, that was the one she liked. She doesn't like dainty, doesn't like too round, certainly doesn't do bling. And of course, I struck gold, because that is simply one of the best reps there are out there. Couldn't believe it. So she got the watch she wanted more than any other, and it even has the gen movement in there. For $150!! One thing to watch out for - the metal bracelet is crap in spades. I believe jraines87 pointed that out for me. So I got the leather strap version - but of course either can be swapped out for something better. So I'm really saying that it's good to ask what they like, but also that if you're looking to surprise, this is a fine choice. -
Who is the dealer? It might be that you're comparing apples and oranges. That said, if you shop around you can pick up the ETA for a great price anyway.

You gotta hand it to this guy - he knows his dog-eating freshwater fish! Good to have the real ape back!

The real Ape would be able to tell us what kind of fish this is:

There are LOADS of brilliant watches under $200 - they're just not always the hot 'rep of the day'. Forget all the 7750 chronos of course; but you can still get excellent non-chrono ETA reps for under $200, not to mention the Asian 21J reps - you can't really go wrong with them because even if the movement did fail, you can swap it out for a cheap replacement. The 42.5mm Planet Ocean is excellent (available for less than $200 from some dealers). The Omega Railmaster XXL is often overlooked. The Noobmariner is great bang for the buck. Some great Patek reps, loads of classy watches....

Photos of gens are a common scam site technique.

G'day!!

Great shots - you're preaching to the converted with the Ingy! Question is....to Cousteau or not Cousteau... Cheers!

Want to confirm which laptop notebook is better
cornerstone replied to Ghetto2315's topic in The looney bin
So the suggestion for choosing between a $500 laptop and a $600 laptop is an $1100 Mac laptop with the similar specs and a smaller screen? To get the same size screen on the Mac comes to $2000. I think OnTech may have an Acer with the same specs as the Dell for $400 with cashback if that's any use. -
From the DVD cover at Amazon: A color-by-numbers sequel -- safe enough that there are no outrageous gaffes, bland enough that it's forgotten five minutes after leaving the theater. Any further probing into its strengths (few) and weaknesses (many) is almost irrelevant. Teen indie queen Heather Matarazzo is just one of many secondary characters obliged to return from the original, but given only token dialogue and plot function so the audience may take pleasure in their familiar faces. It revels in the familiar, including the requisite princess-in-training montage, in which Anne Hathaway bumbles and stumbles her way through such aristocratic activities as archery and ballroom dancing. This set piece worked better the first time, when she was fresh and raw, and hadn't already completed her full Eliza Doolittle makeover, which might have rendered a second such regimen unnecessary. It's always nice to see Julie Andrews, but her appropriation of such teen slang as the incredulous exclamation "Shut up!" also seems pretty played. Financially, the formula was certainly worth repeating, as the film accumulated nearly $100 million domestically. Could it have cut out enough side characters and plot contrivances to clock in at less than 113 minutes, and still make the money? Almost certainly, and it might have been worth a marginal recommendation, like the film from which it inherited the throne. ~ Derek Armstrong, All Movie Guide On the DVD: Bloopers Delted scenes With Garry Marshall introductions "Breakaway" music video by Kelly Clarkson Find your inner Princess - A personality quiz Making a Return Engagement - hosted by Raven A Julie and Garry commentary Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound Fullscreen (1.33:1) French language track and subtitles Spanish subtitles [EDIT: Hold up, I may have copied over the cover from the Princess Diaries 2 by mistake. Probably similar though, think Julie Andrews is in both]

Just search for "Exupery" - should have the info you are looking for. Welcome EDIT: That should be welcome out of the shadows!

And why shouldn't you have fun? It's an amazing piece of engineering, and incredible to see. I know the swell of pride and fascination I get when I see our fine air force boys and their toys here in Andorra. To others it might be intimidating to see that raw power, but when you see them pedalling down the runway it's a breathtaking sight to behold: The Andorran B-2 Squirreljet

You jammy sod!! Sounds like quite the deal! [Wait, apologies...no, you can't have 7 nuggets, it's either 6 or 12] Interesting that you like the black dial best - I wonder if the AR on the ETA version changes the preferences on them?

OT: He's still around lurking amazingly - surprised he doesn't take the limelight more often.

Hey, how come all these students have multiple SFSO's now and yet I work all week don't have any? goddamn...where does the money go? Oh, wait - I remember - feckin' kids....!! Besides - I should have studied harder - [Apologies, that's a customer just pulled up at the drive thru window, I'll be back to finish that thought in a sec...]

Nice try jf! You'll have to try harder than that!
