Great.........they should only make reps that are lowest common denominator (meaning everyone likes). Maybe we shouldn't be interested in these interesting designs. Only Breitlings, rolexes, pam's, etc.
Wow!
PS: I love the DeWitt and Grahams, etc.. I know, I know.........I'm not everybody.
One of the best films of the year and she'll definitely be nominated for an academy award. BTW, Pug, the film was a huge art house hit in the US and is doing big numbers in home video!
I have the same problem. I've got about 14 Pam reps, but I hardly ever wear them. Maybe the 188. In the last year so many interesting breitlings,IWC's,Omegas, vintage rollies, etc. have come my way that the Pams sit in the drawer.
....but I won't sell them. Who knows, maybe the Pam craze will hit me again........hopefully!
I do have the 008 and the crown does close as the gen. Same....exact. I've not seen the gen in person (only pics) but I can't find any difference.....although I'm the first to admit I'm not as anal as some.
I believe ttk did say "it was as good as it gets" out of the box and I have to agree.
That's a beauty. Congratulations.
I also picked up a Picot back in '05 that is very similar to the new chrono version. Very faithful to the original. They are great looking timepieces.
I checked Josh's site and he lists it at 53mm inclusive of the crown guards, so pretty close.
Second, the hours are at 12 on the rep, but the seconds are at 9 and on the gen are at 12. Same problem as the other AP's. Other than that it is a fine looking watch.
By-Tor, I agree with you. That dial design is totally different. I find myself looking for different looking dials (Like the Dewitt) to give some variety to what I wear. My black and white watches are so numerous I actually get bored going from one to the other.
