I never thought I would like a salmon dial until I got this one. Nice rose gold 41mm salmon dial Day Date II. I also learned that natural outdoor light makes all the difference for a decent picture. Enjoy.

It's amazing how people go through so much trouble to concoct a fugazi story in order to give credit to the genuineness of their watch. Isn't it easier to say "it's a fake. I have a great connection for the best replicas you can buy". I think someone who has a great connection for grey market goods is much more interesting than someone who got a watch as a gift. It's great when people give you stuff because they know you are "into" watches. I have received many gifts because people didn't use them anymore. I have never received anything as nice as this though. Congrats.

Would be cool if the pearl was an LED. I think this is kinda silly though. Watches aren't like cars, you can't throw on a set of rims, tint the windows to make a statement. This is just not done with watches, especially Rolexes. Now if he encrusted the whole thing in diamonds that would be a different story.

I have seen people with the big holes in their earlobes but never have I seen anyone with big holes in their nostrils. That is just ridiculous. I'm sure mine is the low cost movement. Works fine so far. I gave up on buying ETA watches with so many fakes going around (ironic isn't it?). I suspect our ETA's will get more and more scarce considering Swatch Group stopped producing movements for sale outside of theirs and a few select brands November 1st.

Also it appears to have a black datewheel. Never seen that on a Rolex before.

The clasp works well, doesn't come loose and stays shut very tightly. The fit and finish is pretty good on this one but it is kind of hard to unsnap, maybe it's just me. The weight is good although I haven't put it on the scale yet I am guessing about 125 to 140 grams give or take. Unfortunatley the genuine in Platinum is around 250 grams.
