regarding the dimensions of the a7753, can you please measure/compare it to the a7750 so we can tell if it would fit/align to replace an a7750...especially dial side to stem dimensions for alignment...and datewheel position...
excellent pix...thanks for sharing!...

I have shipped far too many watches than i'd care to count...and likewise have received "a few"...
From USA/NY, I always use USPS - domestic 1st class w/ delivery confirmation and international first class...
International 1st class has little to no tracking - but i've been successful with it...and it seems to be the quickest posting method...
I also wrap the piece in bubblewrap so that it is approximately 2 1/2 inches thick...insert it in a bubblewrap envelope...i always tape the wrapped piece inside so that it doesn't move around during shipping...and then tape the end and addresses with clear tape...

thanks, guys!...
great info - as always...
just trying to figure out what to do with my old skool dial a7750 196...my datewheel isn't that sunken - it is - but not as much as others...liking the new 196...but don't need two of them...tough to gauge my old model's value, ya know?!...
looking forward to seeing one of the new a7753 196 in the wild...

ok, ok...i do like the Cosmo, too...
and the Montbrillant rose gold white dial...
and the new Navitimer B01 LE...
and...and....and.........................
what are the differences - if any - between the old skool eta7753 dial and the old skool a7750 dial - besides the date window shift?...
how does the new a7753 196 dial compare to the two old skool dials?...(i realize it might be tough to tell with all the damn watermarks on the pix)
thanks...R
very sharp...i did a double-take, too, on the sunken datewheel...would like to see some more pix of this piece...
absolutely love the dial and the size...perfectly executed - but would like to see that datewheel better...
what's the price?...

@high...no idea...
there was actually an article in today's sunday paper about a local gun club that just banned semi-automatics...mostly because of the noise...
and the stuff i posted was from that article...
now this is one sexy watch...
still keeping my fingers crossed that this new 7753 movement thang might be a cheap tranplant for my old skool a7750 196...
what is/was done as part of "subdial refinish"?
MasterZpieces...
as the topic says...looking for one...
If you have a complete watch - and would like to sell - please let me know...must be gen swiss eta movement; Breitling date font and the right dial...(if you are not sure what you have, please let me know and we'll sort through it)
thanks...R
trying to sort thru all this...
1) is the old skool Honpo, EL (or whatever we call it) non-recessed dial of the a7750 196 the same as the eta7753 196 -- with the exception of the date window placement?...
2) how does the new a7753 dial compare to both of these?...
this is tough to tell with all the watermarks on the dealer websites...
Doc...if i follow you, i'm hoping for the same...that this new movement could be dropped in to our old skool a7750 196s...date wheel should align, etc...however, we need specs to know if the stem/tube/crown will align...
