  1. hey Lani...great looking piece...and love the size... is this the piece? Josh 41mm day-date he sells this with 3 movements...with a $120usd swing in pricing...nice...s so would be cool to know which movement you have and how the seconds sweep is, etc... thanks...and wear it well...R

  5. that's funny...i do recall reading about the "test"...i'll execute it and let you know the results... the UTC bracelet was sourced after i got the watch with a standard Aerospace bracelet...discovered that you can't get the module alone...you have to get the entire bracelet with UTC...oh well... i agree with you on the different looks you get with each bracelet...adding the UTC bracelet sported mine up...this watch was meant for the UTC module...adds an aire of coolness... the "black" dial version i have is actually more of a deep dark chocolate... and on our versions - the italics numbers make the look!... 17. thanks some great texture in watch, shirt and jacket...
  18. yes -- as Andreww said, the date advance via the crown can be problematic...from what i've learned, it's an easy fix as the gearing has lifted up and just needs to be tweaked a bit (requires hands/dial to be removed, tho)...mine has this problem...so i have to set it manually by advancing the time round and round...can take quite a bit of winding if you need to advance the date many days -- but to be honest - i love the watch so it's kinda just part of the prep to wear it...AR is definitely blue -- but it's a nice look with the black dial... i know this watch now comes in a polished case and bracelet -- but not a big fan of this look...one of the best features of this watch to me is the brushed case and bracelet -- the bracelet is simply one of the best... 20. hey - I resemble that comment?!... Toad -- wow...simply wow!... a lot of work and learning went into this -- this i know...thanks for showing us how this can be done by novices...you have to start somewhere... now i know i'm going to get some pressure to try this on my Omega BA...for both frozen subdial and frogged up keyless works (pun intended, of course... ) i just wish someone packaged up an entire kit of tools/supplies to get someone started...would make it great to order a single kit... S - seriously well done... but a lot less enticing to women then showing them how to use the Navi slide-rule!... well-done... R-
  21. thanks, guys!... wait til 2mrw...i'm going to unveil my Navitimer World/GMT w/ its invisible crystal...a 46mm masterpiece...
