cool -- i bought a skyland carcass and plan to migrate the pearl to a v2 CA - eliminating the flat blobby pearl syndrome...love it when a plan begins to come together...
thanks, R...appreciate it!...
hey Lan --
question of pearl removal: are they usually just glued on and pop off fairly easily?...what process and/or tools do you use to remove them...are most reps' pearls glued on in this fashion; Omegas, Rollies, Breits, etc?...i need to remove a skyland pearl...
thanks...

ok, ok...uncle, uncle...i guess i deserved that...
but seriously, seems to me that both forums compliment each other and would benefit from being closer together...
(1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3.......doing my finger exercises... )

+1 guys...thanks...been needing to sort cases out, too...
but don't need a "display" case, but rather a storage/brief case like Lani described above...can't seem to find this type of case on his store...thoughts?!...

have you noticed that some items launched in the "General Discussion" forum are being moved to the "Off Topic" forum?...
ok, i totally respect the admins/moderators for doing so...but i'm wondering if the "Off Topic" forum should be listed underneath the "General Discussion" forum and not allllllll the way on the bottom of the page - requiring scrolling...not all 4 "Off Topic" category forums, just the general one...
many of us hone into the "General Discussion" forum to see what's happening with wrist checks, etc...having the "Off Topic" forum underneath would really help - and probably assist the admins/moderators in keeping stuff sorted where they want it to be...
my 2 cented suggestion...thoughts/comments?!...

(ooops...is this a "General Discussion" post or a "Off Topic" post?... )
and in the darkness, a glow of steel...the street light casts a large hunkering shadow...flickering flashes of light - sharp edges of silver scissors in hand...gobs of chinese packing tape crumbled, tangled, mangled...the snorting of frustration and heavy breaths of arduous cutting...a discarded packing slip from joshua blows down the gutter...he waits...
very nice, indeed...looks especially cool on the leather strap pix from A!...
i didn't notice that the bracelet didn't have any gold coloring until the second look-see...that's kinda wierd that it's missing it all - unless it's a replacement ss bracelet...but that would be wierd, too...
do you have any pix of the caseback and/or movement yet?...or the bracelet clasp?...
thanks for sharing...
(every now and again, i ponder selling a bunch of reps and picking up a vintage Navi...awhile back, A sent a link of a really nice affordable one that has haunted me since... )

combine fine watches, great design, craftmanship, creativity, troubleshooting, research, learning, sourcing, engineering, photography, wit, comaraderie, international flare and sexiness... into fine glassware (chief'd, of course)...mix it up...
shaken, not stirred...
toss in an olive (nato, or course)...
that's RWG...
damn proud to spend some time here...

wow - ya know what's scarier than some of these "people"?...answer: the fact that i had the EXACT same thought as Hike on girl #2 before i read his reply...
i had to stop short on this one...looks like Ubi's "liquid" crown shot?!...nice, Lani!...
re: movement --> i kinda figured Lani has the eta version but Josh sells 1) an eta 2836-2 25j 28.8k, 2) an asian clone 2336-2 25j 28.8k ($50 less) and 3) an asian 2813 21j ($120 less)...so wondering how the low cost movement fairs...

@Wimpie --> i agree on the price range above...also helps to know when/if the battery has been changed and by whom...if Breitling did it, having the receipt and/or timeframe helps...if no receipt, a prospected buyer can get the servicing info confirmed with the serial number...they don't like to do it, but if persistant, they will do so...breitling service is also best because they look it all over...not just change the battery...lastly, since pix and lighting can be deceiving, its nice to know/disclose if any of the links have worn gold accents...it is thickly plated, but the links do wear as they are 18k and soft...

so far so good...but i just got it from Pho a couple weeks ago...PR naturally increased while worn...secs run smooth and the watch keeps good time - but i don't have a method to nano-secondly time it...
i love the look of this watch and it wears great on the ss bracelet...reminds me of a Yachtmaster on steroids...
R-
sorry i missed this when you posted this Mike!... wow!...
a real beauty...
wear it well...thanks for sharing...
i imagine it's a distracting watch to wear...i'd be looking at it all the time!...
