  1. Picked up a member's 5002 that he had FS. Then another member alerted me to a good deal on a gen strap still in the original package for a good price. The strap arrived today sealed in the package as advertised Hard to convey in photos just how nice the OEM strap is compared to the rep and aftermarket versions... actually there is no comparison. In-person it's no contest. So while at work today, I got my phone out and took take some pics...
  2. With the 104 series, E thru I have the open "6". Closed "6" started with the J series.
  3. The strap goes nicely with Ti... great pics too!
  4. Both versions have some issues, but the H factory version is definitely more accurate out of the box... especially the dial and cg. Lug shape/profile/width is better too with the H. Overall finish of the DSN is not quite as nice either, the H factory finish is more crisp/gen-like.
  5. msrp is $230. You can find a list of AD's at the main OP website, then call around to see who has one in stock. I ordered mine through an AD, and it took about 2 weeks to show up.
  6. I'm really glad they've decided to put this strap in their regular line up available at an AD near you The Assolutamente strap (MX006ZBZ) was at first only available with SE's (the 24mm size). So when they became available separately back in July I ordered one. They're priced the same as the other calf straps, but I still see them FS at a premium on the forums. Highly recommended as they develop a nice patina pretty quickly and a slightly lighter one instead of getting dark and ugly like some of the JV's. Here's mine after wearing it only 2 days. The stitching is a shade of off-white similar to the vintage lume on the SE's. Some quick phone pics while sitting at a stoplight...
  7. After looking closer at some phone pics I took during a late lunch break today, I realized that the H Factory (and especially the vendor they're getting their dials from) has the ability at this moment to give us a 98% accurate PAM of just about any model we could want. They're getting the subtle coloring of the font right as well as the right lume mix. So why not give us a killer 249 Cali. I truly believe they can now get the slightly vintage lume shade correct as well as the gold RR track/chapter ring. And case shape, crown and lug wire length. We've proven in the past couple of months that whatever they give us will sell out within a week once announced. Lume slightly charged shooting through the ring light with my phone...
  8. Thanks! It's the Panerai P.3000 calibre, 3-day movement. Too bad we can't see a little more of what's under the plates.
  9. Well first of all, the lighting SUCKED!!! The Boutique is only approxiamately 15'x20' with ceiling spots as the only light source. Very little daylight filtered in from the window on the street. Contrast city. So most pics were taken at around a 1/10th-1/20th hand-held. I gave up on trying to improve them in post-processing. The case is definitely modeled after the 6154 (shouldn't have a cg, but that didn't stop OP from adding one). The thin sandwich dial was just O K but the LP engraving was a plus. yep the hour hand appears a little short but is the same length I believe as the 203. It's almost as if OP is paying homage to about a half-dozen different watches from their past. Pics... Movement is a little plain looking with so much of the innards covered up, but in-person seemed balanced with the rest of the watch. I was tempted to remove the sticker, but hadn't had enough wine at that point. Life on the road must get pretty rough sometimes... wtf happened to the cg??? Tried getting close enough to see the depth of the engraving and the cutouts... After awhile the hour hand length was a non-issue, seemed to look more balanced in-person. The watch sits fairly tall on the wrist and the plexi is sure to get scratched up. The area between the lugs and the bezel is typical 6154, I wished it had been more like a 6152/1. Buckle and strap were very cool. The strap isn't quite as red in-person. It's a big improvement over OP's previous attempt at a vintage strap and has a nice patina right out of the package. A couple of POVs... Set mine down next to it to compare ...
  10. My new 005M... just finished dialing in the lever-to-crown tightness... wore it today and will be on the wrist through the weekend.
  11. I was in a group buy organized by member w0lf. You can PM him, but I think he said the H 005M and 187 are both sold out already.
  12. Did a little work on it (cg lever both tip and rollerball/pin area)... other than that it's a winner. CG opening is better with sharper inner cutout corners than the 005K and the crown is the correct width (the 005K's crown was a tad too thick). Crystal appears to be the same as the K's and the height is perfect on my copy. The big surprise for me (besides the movement working for more than 2 hours) was how nicely it was finished. Lo-beat/hi-beat, I could care less as long as it keeps good time and runs 40+ hours per wind. But this one has really nice engraving with well done polished edges and flat polished gear screws (typically they're slightly domed which screams rep). Couple of phone pics...
  13. I think he has more coming in very soon... $475 + s/h. Mine is SAR 41mm model. There is a chrono and a 46mm version as well. http://www.broadarrow.net/sale.htm
  14. Main seller is here in SoCal too. Mine is the 41mm version. They have an auto chrono as well as a 46mm version.
  15. This one comes with a Tritium tube dial and I'm really liking the 24/7 glow Some recent iPhone/Camera+ pics...
  16. Thanks! Best $400 I've ever spent on a T-dial watch
  17. Not the same movement. This was OP's response when asked about the 318's movement ( OPXXIX 18,000 alternations per hour)... "The movement of more direct comparison to the 'OPXXIX (PAM000318) is OPII (PAM000005). The two movements differ in the number of alternations and the certifdicazione COSC. The OPII has 21,600 alternations / hour and is COSC The OP has XXIX 18,000 alternations per hour and is not COSC. The OP XI OP II has the same features but a different basis. Unfortunately we can not disclose what will be the possible future use of the caliber OP XXIX."
  18. It's not yet 100% confirmed and this is the only pic leaked so far. This pic came from the same source...
  19. There are a couple of 44mm Luminor PAMs that use a lo-beat movement, one that comes to mind is the gen 318.
  20. Absolutely beautiful. You took your time and made all of the right choices. The PVD coating tied it all together perfectly!
