Boooooooooooooo! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! What a great game we play! -
This is an example of what I was talking about...

You should see a big improvement in the lume as well, from what I remember reading somewhere. Nice project!

My rule is to go by the lug size from... ACK! My ADD is kicking in... lug size... my rule is that if the lugs don't roll nicely with the wrist then it's not a good fit. Hold your arm out straight. If the lugs end at about where the wrist starts to curve then it's OK. If the lugs are shorter or longer then it won't look right- at least to me it doesn't. Yours looks fine to me. Maybe wear it a little looser. Doing this I think looks cooler than having it real tight, and it'll be closer to your hand making it seem a little smaller. Wearing it looser is how I wear mine and I like the way it feels.

Got this many years ago and just kept it in the drawer. Don't know if it's worth anything but it's interesting non-the-less. I'd have to get a few links for it to fit, or maybe just sell it for a bigger watch! After finding this, I started to do a little research and found this post on "another forum"...

Commercial time... I long for the 60's, especially with the world so close to the end.

Sorry, just had to fix this- did the best I could with the quality of the image given...

Another moron posting a rep on a gen forum
ThinkBachs replied to jnkay's topic in General Discussion
My first reaction was to agree, but while typing the response I had a moment to reflect and have to disagree. I don't think anyone really thinks that they can post a photo of a cheap rep and get away with claiming it was real. Instead of doing the homework, why not use the anonymity of the internet to test the waters on a gen forum before showing it off to your buds? I could see myself doing that when I was 11 years old... -

You are correct Sir! What a great comment, thoughtful and straight to the point. I enjoy reading your remarks and look forward to gleaning even greater insight on this and many other subjects as I follow your posts. Thank you for (c/sh)aring. -

Gotta love that cyclops! Very nice... I'm so jealous... -
Being totally inorant on the subject, my first impression is that maybe michael allen watchmaker is a subversive from one of the gen companies? Hmmm? Again, just my first impression and I resere the right to eat crow when it's proven otherwise.

This should sell a ton of DSSD's for Eurotimez! Glad I didn't spring for that updated dial and bezel, I can get it all in one package. Looking at that bezel insert cross section, you'll notice that the engravings will make the dial more accurate, as opposed to painting the engravings to make them stand out more which would leave paint on the engraved walls. My goal now is to swap the dial and bezel (maybe even the case back) to make my V3 the best of the best. That way I can have the correct HEV to go with the other parts. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us. Peace

I want one too. Gonna be kinda heard to scratch the crystal on this one...

Go to the link in my siggy! You've made your best first step by getting involved in here with the forum. People will tell you to use the search box- yes grasshopper, that is your most powerful tool. If you're serious about finding the best result for your money, find the watch that you must have then research the forum for reviews and feedback from others who have the same thing. Also, keep checking the trade area for some godd-great deals.

I visited this thread to see By-Tor show off his watch again? A whole thread for another gen shot? Couldn't just throw it in a "whatch wearin' today" thread??? I was excited thinking that a new rep version was out and they finally got the color right, but nooooooooooo... If they do ever get the color right, I'd be all over this one. Great watch!

Before. It doesn't look right with a black second hand. Blech! OK, after looking at it a few more times, it you just have to have a black second hand, at least find one that matches/compliments the original hands. The new second hand is way out of place style wise. IMHO that is...
