  2. I like the brown OR. never knew it came in that color.

  4. Nice! Love the FGDs!
  5. This is the green AR on a stock milgauss rep.
  6. Pics or it didn't happen.
  7. Hmm... Is it a polished finish or brushed? Can't really tell...
  8. The 'white gold' version exists but is still SS. Do you really want a plated one which looks exactly the same as SS and will peel off eventually?
  9. Okie, you piqued my curiosity... I tried to get the caseback off with a sticky ball to see if there was the obligatory soft iron cover but the damn thing wouldn't budge. Time to shop at watchbitz again for a press type caseback opener... And, no... I don't think I will test it with mille gauss... although I do have a demagnetizer... hmm...
  10. Still with the green milly.
  11. Thank you for the compliments. I don't find it all that small, I think it is the polished bezel. This is a shot with my blue surf.
  12. Accuracy is luck of the draw between both movements. Within +/- 30s per day should be acceptable. Most ETA especially the clones are in better condition out of the box than most A7750s, then again you might strike out and end up with a really crappy reconditioned ETA. The odds favor ETA. As usual, YMMV.
  13. This one just came in. The AR is incredible. Possibly one of the best out of the box rep there is. Kudos to Lani for his review that inspired me to get this. Thanks for looking, R
  14. Day date font looks like rep or stock eta.. Corum has their own custom font, I think. Day date font looks like rep or stock eta. Corum has their own custom font, I think.
  15. This one just came in over the weekend. Best out of the box rep I've gotten so far.
  16. True. The person under me checks the forum for new posts at least 3 times a day.
  17. I've been using a pair of tweezers to remove o-rings from crowns so that I can apply silicone for water resistance sealing. It's been a hit and miss affairs. Sometimes, I just can't dig the o-ring out. Can the experts please share their best practices on this? Thanks for looking, R
  18. Yeah... definitely would have got one from you if I hadn't already one off flea bay that's probably a rep...
  19. Thanks, OS, for sharing that. Very informative. What I should have said was, aren't the terms mineral glass and synthetic sapphire as used by our dealers interchangable and almost always indicate mineral glass?

  21. I curved the end of my spring bars with pliers. YMMV. I saw a springbar curving tool on watchbitz, that might help.
  22. Life is unfair... Nice pickup!
  23. Finally got down to resizing the bracelet on Andy's moonie.
  24. you know, i would really trust concepta on this...
