  1. Now if I could just find a way to feed the kids with watches and bags
  2. You don't need any more bags.
  3. It is a little thicker, but there is also a differant case on the gen gold models vs the ss (this rep is of a white gold model). I think you have about the same chance of winning the lottery as running into somone that could out you with that watch on a specific reason. As for the movement, mine has been serviced by The Zigmeister as well... Which makes this an expensive rep out of the box, but it would stop hourly before service.
  4. It's engraved, and filled in black (At least on mine).
  5. $60 would be way too high, someone a few months back was selling the 21j daytonas that had a much better case for 45.
  6. Steel should be the same, but the rep is very very dirty when new... Use a good polish (rub very lightly on brushed steel). You'll be amazed at how black your rag gets, and in turn how brilliant your rep can be.
  7. I like the white too, but dissappointed that all the white reps are actually "off" white... My navitimer rep is the same way. At least the latest chronomat evo looks to be a true white, so I will probably pick that up.
  8. Whoah, chilll out dude. Internet is full of misinformation and there are more then a few "gen" sites that mistakingly list quartz on a few of the 25 differant variations of the model, didn't think they would make a quartz and apparently they dont(although Brietling is the #1 producer of COSC certified quartz watches and only #3 for mechanical.) Dial config is dead wrong, and short of someone making a rep with a 2894-2 (ha yeah right)... There is no changing that without making the 7750 worse the the ticking time bomb the seconds at 6 daytona's are... Lack of A/R is disappointing. Overall its a very nice rep.
  9. Didn't make sense to me either but... Breitling has been known in the past to make 50 variations of the same watch so who knows. Feels very solid, and the band is very comfortable. The taper makes it an easy watch to wear all day, much more comfortable then a 44mm pam on ss (for me at least).
  10. It would be nice if they could mimic the new ceramic engraved bezel with inset gold. I'm not sure if it is being used on anything but the 50th gmt yet though.
  11. Looks like the quartz reference is just a misprint on a couple sales site (probably orginated at one place and copied from there)... Not sure about the jomashop pic but i've seen it on a few other sites including timezone, but wasn't able to pull up the link quickly.
  12. The l's on the back are not noticable even when looking (especially when clean and polished)... chronomeler / swizerland I thought about getting the engraving fixed, but figured it would be really hard to match and bring more attention to it. I didn't mean the rep was quartz, i meant the gen comes in automatic and quartz (why I have no idea).
  13. OK, but this is not the only one i've seen: http://www.jomashop.com/breitling-bentley-...212-b6-665.html Regardless, this is one substantial well built case, with a dial so complicated you would be hard pressed to notice the wrong subdials unless you know the watch and were looking close.
  14. Mine has the black date font (seen both in gen, but most of the reds I've seen are quartz?)
  15. Sub is a very light watch, especially compared to the po.
  16. At least they are not trying to pass it off as real, this POS is what comes to mind when most people think of replicas.
  17. I guess I can handle one more black dialed watch.
  18. Josh is excelllent and those two watches are great, but make sure you know what your getting into with the daytona seconds at 6. MANY MANY people have had problems with me, including myself (have the same black dial). Sent mine of to The Zigmeister for service. I just bought that bentley motors this weekend, but missed the post man today so I have to wait till tomorrow.
  19. I'm waiting and will order from angus... I want that diamond bezel with slate grey or white dial on ss band.
  20. colonknight, how appropriate.
  21. I removed the movement and all oring, heated the tube with a hairdryer and used a small file to twist the crown tube out... Once heated it came out like butter.
  22. WOW what a POS... Oh yeah I f'ed up the lugs, but figured you wouldn't care. Chronomat always seemed like an ass, but damn that is too far.
  23. Think some are used to cheap canal street reps that use day date function to replace chronographs.
  24. Fresh from The Zigmeister:
  25. Here's my second attempt, haven't put it back in the case yet: "inspiration":
