  1. Thats good to hear teejay. The sight I had visited was Exactreplicas. Thery are no longer around at least not by that name. There were many complants I had seen later at complantborad.com. Most people got rubbish that was DOA. Im glad that at least you got something for your money. Mike
  2. The first rep that I saw was at a rep sight about ten months ago. The thing Is I could not get over how great this rep looked. It was the Omega Seamaster po chrono. I compared to the gen and It was spot on, unbelievable Then I ran Into RWG1 and they said to stay away from rep sights that show 10 10 watches. Because the gens are always shown at the time of.... thats right you guessed It 10 10. Now I know why that rep looked so real. Because It was Im glad I had visited RWG1. Saved me a nice hunk of change. God only knows what I would have received, If anything Mike
  3. This a very good question and answears will varry. I like to keep a watch that I might wear on a winder for all of the above reasons. But for the most part I keep my watches In a watchbox and wind them every few weeks. This Is something I enjoy doing because I like to Interact with my watches. I have a Omega that Is 40 yrs old and has never been on a winder or serviced for that matter, my bad for the lack of service. The watch still keeps good time. I know are reps are not omegas but I dont feel that you have to keep all of your watches on a winder to have them for a long time. Thanks for the toppic Mike
  4. I was going through the same thing for about month, It was real pain In the [censored]. I fooled around with my fire fox config, and some how It's much better now. I really dont know what I did but whatever It was, It seems to be working. Mike
  5. I think you might want to use the term "dealer" or better yet "trusted dealer". The term AD(authorized dealer) really doesn't accutately decribe where we purchase are reps from, just a friendly reminder Mike
  6. Dont forget about the free car wash with your 1000.00 post, congratz Mike
  7. Dam Im sorry to hear that. I have been around for about nine months and thought that these reps were pertty nice for the money. The only issue I have had Is a pusher that will start but not stop the chrono. The guy that I take my watches to says that It's a easy fix. I have eight reps and all of them run well. The big question Is how well they are running a year from now. I know that the crown tubes are very thin and have a " I want to break feel to them" I am very careful when setting the time. I just purchased a Invicta Subaqua Noma 7750 for $$699.00. It really Is a nice watch. Im probably going to wait a while and see how the reps that I have hold up before ordering again. I think they well hold up well I hope they do anyway. Im sorry that you have had such bad luck with yours. Mike
  8. Hi my name Is mike and Im a watchholic everyone.... HI MIKE

  10. Hello? If you have taken someones money then send them there stuff, period. If he Is having problems then why the wrist shots and showing up at the geek. He cant take one minute and return a pm? Im sorry but there Is no excuse for this kind of behavior. Just two pennies from the peanut galery Mike
  11. Im really supprised that you buy reps. IT appears to me like your tring to find reasons to put them down. The truth Is most people will never be called out on a rep. The few people that I have shown my reps to are very Impressed and have asked me to give them more Information on where they could buy such a watch. To have a really nice watch for two-three thousand Is no big deal. I mean a watch should be pertty nice when spending that kind of scratch. But to buy a rep thats has a 7750 or a 2824 for around $300.00. I think thats a no brainer. The reason I think Reps are more Interesting than gens Is, well you can have your rep modded. There Is also this mystery about reps. In most cases they have to travel thousands of miles before they get to us. Will they arrive In one piece? Will they arrive at all. Will they work properly? How can we make them better? lume, ar, cg work, etc, etc. etc. My experence Is that If you are worried about being called out on your rep then this hobby Is probably not for you then. I know for myself that I could care less what anyone thinks about my watch. I wear It for my enjoyment not others. The truth Is most people dont really care what kind of watch your wearing. Do you go around staring at peoples watches? Things have been kind of slow (quiet) around RWG lately. Thanks for stirring the pot, gets people a talkin Mike
  12. Welcome to RWG I also like the Zen ith. As far as I know only the Deffy Extreme and the El Primero chrono and El Primero Open are available. I really like the Extreme with the black IP and white/black dial. I think most of are trusted dealers here carry both. Although It may not be the most accurate rep, I think It stands well on It's own, good luck and happy hunting Mike

I like you was very Impressed with the knowledge and expertise of the membership here. Take your time and get to know the place. There Is a ton of fantastic Infomation available. It's true that female members are rare but they are also a sight for sore eyes Mike
