  5. Welcome to RWG I just purchased a Breitling Supper Avenger. It may not be the best out of the box rep but It's still a very good rep Imho.(ss bracelet not the best) If you like Breitlings take a look at the Sea wolf. Im hoping to purchase the yellow In the next few months. Before I buy any rep I read BY-Tor's reviews and other members reviews. These reviews can give you a lot of Insight on whatever rep your Interested In. Toads reviews have also been very helpful to me In my quest for that perfect or almost perfect rep, good luck and happy hunting Mike
  6. Ya.. I know what you mean. I would think that he would at least post a high end rep or maybe a franken. Maybe he just doesn't know any better, and thats a pretty sad statement In It's self. Mike
  7. Now thats a good one By-tor. Do you think It's possable that he thinks It's a gen? The reason I ask Is because I think that trying to pass off a rep on a gen forum Is really insulting to the whole community. I also beleive that more people are wearing reps, they just dont like to admit It. Thanks for the good laugh Mike
  8. Just to let you know Asian7750 (Tony) Is a very good dealer Imo. I have purchased three(3) watches from him In the last three months. He delivers a fine product at a very good price. Mike
  9. I would take a look at are trusted dealers section. Trustytime and perfect clones Is a good place to start, good luck Mike
  10. Im not a rose/yellow gold type of person. But If I were to wear this type of watch I think I could wear the Maxi Marine Chrono In this scheme . It's a beautiful piece. I have my eye on the Maxie Marine blk/red, on the rubber strap. I also think this watch looks fantastic on the ss. I really like there wave pattern dial, much more than say the "Omega Sea Master". As far as the Freak go's, "forgetaboutit" Mike
  11. I just received the same watch from tony @ Asian7750 for $299.00. I think It's a lot of watch for the money. I really like the way yours came out, very nice Indeed. I have never had a stranger comment on any of my watches, maybe that will change with this bad boy straped to my wrist Mike
  12. Welcome back We have Josh @ Perfect Clones and Andrew@ Trustytime and several other dealers, everything that you want Is here, enjoy Mike
  13. Watcheden as quite a nice assortment. I think most dealers can get you a box for whatever watch that you need It for, check around, good luck Mike
  14. It's funny how things happen. I showed up here on Jan 3,09. I was just going pick up a cheep quartz Omega PO and be on my way. The only reason i joined this forum was so I would not get ripped off. Well now I have eight reps, six are automatices. I just purchased a 12 slot watch box and 2 slot watch winder. I think that when this Is filled I will be close to my limit. Then again who really knows for sure. Im now going to concentrate on taking care of the watches I do have. I think I will service a watch per month or so. Mike
  15. Thank you Stephane. The Images that are burned Into my memory are of those people jumping out of one of the tallest buildings In the world. The horror of It all. Mike
  16. I will take the Frank Villa, thank you very much. This particular FV has been one of If not my all time favorite pieces for the last six months or so. If you twist my arm real hard maybe I would take a freak. Mike
  17. I think a lot of people are envious, but In a good way. Im one of them. I dont think that i will ever have a collection even half as nice as yours. The thing to remember is that you did not just wake up one day and have this Incredable collection. This Is a result of many years of passion and loyalty to a hobby that you obviously love and respect, thanks for sharing Mike
  18. I dont know you robbie but only as the guy with the all the gen watches. Im from Ft Laudredale and do beleive that i read that you were from somewhere In that neck of the woods. All I can say Is thank you for sharing something so personal. I think your message Is "enjoy your life, you never know what tomorrow will bring". It takes courage to post something like this, thank you so much, your In my prayers. Mike
  19. When I arrived here at RWG my biggest watch was a 42mm. I thought anything bigger than that was just silly big I purchased my first Pam and my prespective was changed for ever. There has been some great articles about big watches lately. Some think there a fad, some think there here to stay. I personaly like a bigger watch at times, although I have only a 7 1/2 in wrist. I just received my SA from Asian7750 yesterday. I can honestly say that "I wont go any bigger than this" DAM this thing Is big, not only that but a thick beefy sob as well. I was In line at the local walmart CS desk about a month ago. This guy behind me was wearing what looked to be a Invicta Venom, not a bad looking piece. It had to be at least 52mm and 20mm thick. This watch Imo just looked silly on this person. We talk about the size of the wrist but I think the size of ones hands Is even more significant. When a person Is wearing a really big watch It looks out of porpotion to the rest of his arm when he or she has small hands. The bottom line for me Is that If I like the way the watch looks and feels then I have made the right choice for me. Thanks for the topic. Mike
  20. I am also having Issues with my Avatar, try as I might, I cant seem to get anywhere. Mike
