are you certain that the cannon pin is high enough. Usually with pie pan dials, you need extra high cannon pins, cuz those dials don't sit flat like the 16000 dials. If it does work like, let us know. I have another dj franken project in the books right now.

45mm Planet Ocean vs. NOS Vintage Seamaster 300
If you see Kay replied to mmallers's topic in The Omega Area
I have both and love them both. I will eventually sell one of them, as I cannot justify keeping both. -
Please post up the pic once you get it. I'd like to see it myself, just out of curiosity

I've got Trusty's 1016 and I vintagized it. I have since "unvintagized it and restored it back to looking "as new". I have a new Clark crystal on it that was modded to fit right. Trusty's lug holes are my biggest beef. But you can drill them out bigger. The lug hole pins are curved to fit the bracelet properly. Don't let that stop you. It works just fine. Just don't loose them. Don't know how proper lug pins will work though once you drill out the holes bigger. I have mine on a gen Rolex alligator strap, so not an issue.

I'm wondering why you cannot wear it anymore because of a snapped spring bar. ?????

I had an unauthorized transaction from some African country for a couple of plane tix at several thousand bucks. The CC company called me up immediately and investigated and knew it was fraudulent and stopped payment immediately after confirming with me that I did not make that purchase. They issued me a new card. They said that they'd eat the loss of the transaction, but somehow I don't think that they ever paid out in the first place, or did a charge back somehow. I think they just wanted my eternal gratitude for looking out for me.

I made my own open 6 and 9 overlay using a high resolution image and scanned it and fixed it up pixel by pixel using 1000x image magnification. I then got high quality paper to have it printed on by a printing company. Still not as good as an orignial overlay, but you'd really have to look closely to see the differences.

@LHOOQ How did you get the seconds and the minute hand to clear the raised stick markers? I'm having a bit of trouble with that and have to "bend" the seconds and minute hands upwards just to clear the stick markers. Is my datewheel ring too high of a profile? I think mine is about 1mm in height maybe slightly less. Did you use an dw overlay for that?

Does it look like theres a picture of Che Guevara on the lug there (bottom pic, lug facing you)

Are you sure it's 33mm? Nice watch.

Need someone to translate from English to Chinese
If you see Kay replied to gimme's topic in General Discussion
hahh, I speak four languages and you will need to write simplied Chinese. Good luck. PM me if you need help. -
that is a small watch at 33.45mm. It was my first gotta have watch when I joined the forums. I eventually ended up getting a Longines Grand Classique instead. But I sold that and now no longer interested in the 5120. It is a might fine watch though.

Does the 42mm PO still have clasp problems?
If you see Kay replied to MagicDrumSticks's topic in The Omega Area
yes, the PO clasp does have a long standing problem with the mushroom pin and even sometimes the clip that holds the mushroom pin. Luckily, those can be modded to be real secure. -
just don't get your art work ending up on this site. http://hanzismatter.blogspot.com/

Are you on Tattoodles.com for your peer reviews? He's a local tattoo artist that has made a name for himself amongst tattoo artists. by the way when doing kanji characters, be VERY careful in replicating them. make sure you get a bonafide chinese dude to read over your proof first before doing the work.
-
The only way to do it is to buy a whole bracelet itself off a TD and just use the replica clasp. Your friends are right. I am in the same boat as you. I have a gen jubilee without the clasp and have been sourcing a gen clasp, but they are too expensive atm. (btw, I'm pretty sure I know where you got your jubilee from, since I have the same problem as you.)

I think it actually has a 1225 movement in it.

If you see Kay replied to watch_fanatic's topic in Style and looks
that's a weird item to specifically ask for. I've got these shirt I use for grunge wear. Nothing I'd wear formally. I treat these shirts like sweatshirts and tshirts. Gee where can I get those??????? -
