  1. Welcome to RWG pisko! Good to have you on board!
  2. Yes, the quality and finish is far superior on the gen stuff of course.. Can't beat the gen stuff there! But in terms of visual accuracy I would say this is pretty good news for those who don't want to pay premium for a gen hand set. A small paint mod will take you a long way.
  3. Very interesting. I wonder if this is how all classic 3717's (complete from the factory) will look in the future then - or if it's just the replacement parts ATM? Spoke to my local AD yesterday and his most recent delivery of 3717's from IWC still had the silver centre subdial hands. And he hasn't heard anything about this kind of update yet so I guess only time will tell.. Personally, I love the small silver centre detail. However, if it turns out to be a real model update on the gens, then it will be a easy mod to make the rep hands very accurate that's for sure..
  4. NICE watch and wrist shot mate!
  5. Ditto Rob! (and everyone else)
  6. Are you sure that this is how they all come nowadays? The reason for my doubt is that about a year ago I received a brand new gen hand set with one of the subdial hands with black painted centre (just like yours) and another one with missing black paint on its tip - obviously a sloppy mistake by the factory. Edit: found an old pic illustrating the problem..
  7. LOVE IT! Congrats on a sweet 9401 build!
  8. Good to see you again as well, Mr Bateman..
  9. Benvenuto crupos! Good to have you on board!
  10. I'm no expert but that sure looks like a clone to me. Sorry..
  11. +1 Same here. Cant wait to get my MBW based 9411 with those nice and crisp jmb engravings assembled (just waiting on the date wheel to arrive).. The man is a true artist! @woof*: Congrats - it looks GREAT!
  12. AMAZING lume job!
  13. Welcome to the Cuckoo's Nest in the watch world Michas! Glad to have you on board!
  14. Nice review mate! A huge improvement compared to the previous version IMO! Thanks for sharing!
  15. Indeed, the last GTG was super small - despite the fact that Berlin won the the poll with 20+ votes, so a couple of peeps went MIA. BUT we did have a fantastic evening anyway! I think Berlin is still recovering.. As for the next one.. I'll be happy to host it! In fact, I have already started to hammer the iron and will get back with more info with good time margins..
  16. Welcome back! Looking forward to your participation!
  17. Long time no seen.. Good to have you back mate! Looking forward to meet up on the next EU GTG!
  18. Love the rail dials! I had the markers on mine Bergeon lumed in light ivory colour (almost white) along with the hands. Perfect glow for a "vintage" tool watch IMHO as it's not as bright as super luminova. I'm very happy with the result!
  19. My gosh! That thing is STUNNING!!
  20. I'm with Dave on this one. I mean, who in their right mind would spend that silly amount of money on a fashion accessory engined by a cheap ebauche movement with a pretty rotor? Not that many (I hope) so it's probably a rep..
  21. Huge congrats and thanks for all your time and effort spent to make this place what it is! Better start working on my post count if 10k results in a collection like that!
  22. Welcome zvish! You have just joined a truly unique forum!
  23. Hey!
