Having seen the error of my ways, this watch will now stay in my collection! So I thought I would snap a few new shots of it. Everything you see on the watch is genuine Rolex with the exception of the middle case(WM9 V2), the hands(WM9 SD hands) and the movement(SW200) I have just finished shaving down a genuine 16610 datewheel and have fitted it this afternoon. This has made quite a difference as it is much more white and the numbers are fractionally smaller so it looks better in the date window of the dial(well I think so anyway ) Enjoy the pics!

As Ubi states, they are different but from memory the 14060 and 16600 SD are both the same. So look out for a gen one of those and I think you will be ok.

I bought it from a private seller! The clasp had been damaged but I fixed it ok. They usually fetch a bit more than that but I'm guessing the damage put them off.I had a couple of 2mm spring bars but bklm1234 may be able to sell you some as wm9 make them for their models. It can take a while to source a bracelet so be patient! Thanks for the vote of confidence ubi!!

A genuine 93250 fits perfectly on Wm9 watches. As for price, they do vary. I picked up a 2005 complete bracelet last week on Ebay for

Wearing my WM9 V2 Franken today and most days.

THe biggest problem with the sels are the humpback appearance and also they never curve them enough. The latest V3 sels are quite good if only the shape was a little more curved. As Bytor states, the V1/V1.5 sels were three peice but much more accurate in appearance and I had them fitted to my V2Franken until I bought a gen bracelet on Ebay last week! Just to add that if anyone wants a pair of genuine 3 peice sels I have a band for sale in the strap section. With a little skill you can remomve the band and swap the sels over for that perfect look. To me as I'm sure Tribal will agree, the V2 was the best case. Once you fit a gen tube and crown the crown height over the V3 is hardly noticable and CG's are nearly perfect on the V2 case. The only real problem on the V3 which cannot be sorted is the recess between the guards which is a little too deeply cut and allows the crown to sit too near the bezel whereas on the V1 and V2 cases this is not a problem.

Is it not more economical to buy from a rolex agent? You have a gen watch so why look at the other avenues which most likely attract a premium! Just my thought....

She received a full service and gaskets plus the fitting of a new gen dial. I'm nearly happy now with this franken! Just a gen bracelet and I'll be there!

HI THe retainer gasket I used is under this number on Cousins website: C8413 My assembly is also all genuine parts.

The second assembly is without doubt Genuine and at the right price is worth buying!!!

I have not heard of any within the EU but he may have sent some to other world destinations. I think he has built one at least as he has already told of difficulties with the rehaut installation etc. I think this is the most anticipated project WM9 has ever done!!

This one today now it is back from The Zigmeister's after a service and new dial fitting.

The '2' on the insert in the pics is perfect and identical to my brand new gen insert I have just fitted to my Sub.

Yes I agree about the lip on the bezel, it looks nice and thick with a good recessed insert.

It is very hard to tell from the pics. It is certainly not new if it's genuine. The teeth have lost their sharpness on the bezel. The insert looks gen to me. If you can take the assembly apart I can tell if the retainer is genuine straight away. It looks pretty ok from this pic though. Some other experts will give their opinion I'm sure.
