While pushing the button in the hole on the inside of the bracelet, push the pin from the side that corresponds to where you are releasing it at the same time

I've just taken my gen bezel and insert into my Rolex dealer without watch and ordered a new insert without any problem.

That is a gen movement inside. Not seen a rep 6497 with that quality of finish! A very beautiful peice!!

Yes it is a gen bracelet. The finish is amazing compared to the rep offering. The end links make the biggest difference.

Removing the hands is the easy part as long as you do not pull too hard and remove the hand from it's tube! Getting the chrono hands back on is always the tense moment for me. I have a set of hand setters which is pretty much essential. There is a very good post in the modifications section which shows exactly what to do with many, many pictures. One thing with these hands is the fact they are black and not polished like Rollies etc and you do not need to be quite so pristine with the rodico. You do have to remomve a plate to get the date wheel off but the post as mentioned above shows this very well.

The gen dial shouts out at you compared to the rep. Lovely watch!

Very well explained! The watch I'm receiving from Vac will have the 'concepta' 79320 gen movement plus Vac's lume on a V1 dial(still the best rep dial) and gen IWC DW's which are different on some digits to the ETA(I will show comparison when it arrives) and Cheif's double AR. It will have rep dial and hands until such time as they come available to me.

Here are a few 'Conservatory shots'. I have done something else to the watch. Who will spot it first! I really can't wait for my gen movement watch arriving from Vac!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The AR on Taka's crystal is very gen like. It looks more reflective in the pics compared to reality though. This last pic should give it away guys!

Today I received my 3717 V3 brand new watch from DVN! Exceptional service I must add and thankyou to him!! I hav e my super rep being built by Vac so this hasd satisfied my hunger for now! First thing I did was strip it down and fit ETA wheels inside and also fit a Taka crystal I bought a little while ago. THe rep AR is quite good these days but not as good as Taka's and certainly not as good as Cheif which I will compare whenever my watch returns from Vac. I think it looks pretty damn sweet now! I will do some daylight pics tomorrow but here are a couple of bathroom shots where I take all my watches at some point to photo!!

Gone a simple look today. Don't wear this very often and keep thinking about a bracelet for it.

Here's a pic of my Gen I had until recently. Vac has had my 3717 since September so it is heartening to know he is still only just sending watches received much earlier! That looks very nice.

Royal Mail 'internmational signed for' small packet service(3-5 Days usually). Airsure does not require a signature at the delivery point.

The biggest giveaway on the rep is not the insert. The dial is different in many ways. Larger Date window, thinner rings around the markers, dial print is way superior too.

I had email contact with him last week and he is getting there slowly but surely. Should'nt be much longer I don't think.!

I have been charged a fee depending on the source but If i'm not charged a fee the exchange rate is not as favourable as the non gift method.

This ultimate DSSD today. I have just rebuilt it with a new CousinsUK sealed ETA2836-2 and WM9 Datewheel with better fonts. All it needs now is the updated '10' bezel.

My friend, I live 20 miles from blowers and deal quite regularly with them and will be there on Saturday and see if I can work you a deal!

I had forgotten all about that my friend but you are correct, we have come a very long way especially in the last 2 years. I look at this franken on my wrist and really see no point whatsoever in buying a gen anymore. Little things always annoyed me how ever well I modded a watch but this does not make me feel that way at all. Thanks for all your comments, I'm very proud of this one!
