  1. I'm with RoninQ. Its a dull day here, so I think something bright is in order. Can you guess which one HackR?
  2. Come on people, its been at least a month since we had a lumeshot thread. I say its about time we had another.
  3. Had to pull myself together this morning, I've worn Hack's old Orange Monster 8 days straight! It also did n't gain or lose a second over the whole week. I've never had a mechanical so accurate As you can see, the crystal is already prepped for chief's next run.
  4. With all the excellent photography talent on show here, I was wondering if anyone else enters the challenges on www.dpreview.com Nothing watch based there, but still some great photography going on. I've only entered a few comps yet, but just got a 2nd place in the 'Honoring Veterans' category. No cash prizes, just bragging rights to the winners.
  5. Would it be a good move to replace the unserviced A7750 in your rep with one of these from Cousins? Instead of getting a service. What I'm getting at is, would they arrive already oiled up and running like ....er....clockwork
  6. Reps have took a back seat for a few days. This one semes to be stuck on the wrist There maybe something wrong with the movement though, its gained 1 second in 3 days
  7. I've just joined the Monster Club Can't post one of these without the money shot! How about another, way over the top, long exposure, nothing like the real world
  8. Can't fault the choice of watch and your pictures are great. Here's what I can tell you with regards to servicing and I'm sure some more members will chime in too. I think Tom Highway is our resident UK watchmaker and Briciola is based is Germany. I haven't any experience in dealing with Tom, but last month Briciola serviced my Swiss powered UPO and did a great job, he can also get German, non-tinted AR done as well but I can't vouch for the quality. You won't get AR done in the UK. Chieftang is our resident AR god and is U.S. based. He will post sign up threads throughout the year when a coating run is imminent and we all try to get in on the limited places.
  9. I've been using these on various devices for a few years now, and they are brilliant. They are, however, a bit boring. Now, though, you can upload your own image and they'll print it onto your very own shield. Only a few devices are available at the moment, but the possibilities are endless. Makes a nice gift for someone, heres one I may get done for my Ipod.
  10. This is my only Red. But I think I've found something more up your street Could n't resist, sorry
  11. I think there's a lot of people on here who concider the Aero a grail watch. Me for one. I've just had my battery replaced by an authorised repair centre. Just glad I was sitting down when they told me how much.
  12. Nice effect on the crystal. No PS on this, just resized. Everytime I wear this, it seems to get smaller.
  13. He was the fastest wet time on the board. 1m47.something if I remember. Top bloke, but I can't get chopper out of my head whenever I hear him speak.
  14. An old favourite of mine on a rather tatty looking U2 strap.
  15. I've also got a Genuine Omega Speedmaster that I need to sell for the same "friend" Inscription on the back reads... "Flight-Qualified by Starfleet for all manned Space Missions. The First Watch Worn On Mars" Any mention of hard times or friends should really set the alarm bells ringing for most people, but you can't help feel for the poor sods who are taken in.
  16. These are great pics, Condemore. Well done. I did n't like the U1 when I first saw it, something about the shape of the hands that I just did n't like. Now though, I seem to be hearing a whispering in my ear. Buy me, Buy me, Buuuuyyyyyyyyy Mmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  17. I was very disapointed that things did n't work out with Michael, when he first arrived, there definatley was a sence of enthusiasm at the prospect of a new ,rep-friendly Watchmaker in the UK, and his shop is just 5 miles from my house. However, after reading comments on various threads regarding his work, I was uncomfortable sending him anything of mine. I did try 'The guy in Germany' mentioned earlier. His forum name in Bricciola and he's a great guy to deal with. He repaired and serviced a swiss eta in my UPO and did an excellent job. The watch has a 40 hour plus reserve now and runs super accurate. I can highly recomend him for any EU residents and he'll definatley be getting more work from me in the future.
  18. There you go. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HIRSCH-FREESTYLE-22mm-BLACK-FIBRE-WATCH-STRAP_W0QQitemZ270330798597QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL?hash=item3ef0f8a205
  19. Just love this, especially now i've changed the rubber strap. I've regulated this to, at worst +1 sec a day whilst worn ( not skill, just luck I guess) Off the wrist in any position it will gain 15 secs a day. Weird!
  20. Some may remember a post of mine describing the awful but amusing turn of events that lead to the untimely death of my UPO. Well, a repair and service by Bricciola, a new case-set from PT and more
  21. Yep. Hirsch Freestyle from WatchObsession on English Bay. Excellent quality for a fairly small price.
  22. I like it. What do you think?
  23. I've been revisiting some oldies too, lately. School for Scoundrels Forbidden Planet Murder by Death Blues Brothers The Day the Earth Stood Still and finally... The 'Burbs. I have knicknames for all my neighbours and the slightly strange family has been known as the Klopeks for nearly 20 years now. The Riddler is a guy who is obsessed with removing stones from his soil. The Witch, annoying laugh. Mrs Tidy, who is compulsivley so . You get the picture, Heaven knows what the call me The best recent ones I've seen are Taken, with Liam Neeson. What a badass. Defiance with Daniel Craig. And a dodgy copy of District 9 which is kind of renting Excellent film.
