  1. Great! I can't wait for the pics! But... wasn't Tritium declared illegal? How did you find it?
  2. That's a great saving on ebay cost! Really thanks, kruzer, you rock! Email sent.
  3. Sorry for this trouble exactly on your cherry watch. Those collectors used to have excellent reputation (I am confident that, should you ever decide to ask them for a replacement they will help), and I am concerned with all these issues that are coming out about their current performances. I know that already in the past they had down times -- due to recurring serious health problems to one of them, I heard. It maybe that also on these occasions it's something alike. Nothing than can sooth your trouble, I understand.
  4. Sure no way for true tantalium, but if you ever happen to get a 192 you might be interested in this thread.
  5. And the "A"! Don't forget the "A"! BTW, gorgeous watch (and strap) you have there. (Nice, evildee replying to evilboy... And someone said 'I see no evil here').
  6. At least three members were working on that, and even if one of them is currently MIA, I am confident that sooner or later those datewheels will come to the light. Stay tuned.
  7. Maybe it is the watchsmith that is defective? Most likely the movement is ok, but who assembled the watch just placed the hour hand wrong. In order to fix it should be enough to remove the hands with the hour hand pointing at 8 o'clock, and placing them back with the hour hand pointing at 12 o'clock. A 5 minutes work to any watchsmith provided with a brain (not even a great brain).

  9. Hi, what diameter do you need? I remember that ajoesmith was looking for a thick screw and he had a spare one that was too thin to his need, maybe you can have an exchange. Have a look here.
  10. Oh my! I am overwhelmed!
  11. My Official Time stingray straps are about 3mm thick... now I am dying from jealousy on that 5mm thick strap...
  12. Ok, de gustibus non est disputandum. But what removing a few "~" from the title? They made the whole page a mess on my screen.
  13. "It's your good manners that are fake, aren't they?" ...But really in your country one can believe that people around is so interested in what watch you wear that he goes telling around that your watch is fake?!? I am glad not to live there. If I was one of those people I would get a much badder impression from that guy's attitude than from a rep.
  14. I never worked on titanium, but I suppose that some fine sandpaper would make the job. You need to figure out what grain is needed for the final finish i.e. to give the area where you worked the same brushed look as the remaining surface. Most likely grain between 600 and 1200.

Great. Just consider that, English not being my language, to me it's like running on a single foot. I also tried not to make all nonsense posts.
  16. 40-50$ range is good for a strap headed to an inexpensive watch (sometimes to more expensive watches too), and it will make your watch look 100% better.

    Thats it!
  18. Thanks! It was more than 1 year that I was collecting pics of those beauties...
  19. You lucky guy. The only flaw that I can ascribe to my stingray straps is that they are a little too stiff. But I like them at the point that I would wear them even if they were going to cut my wrist out.
  20. No crowns for me -- paid July 2006 (to palp though, not to PAM).
  21. I just suppose that those criteria leave out wives and butlers...
  22. I'm not sure I got all implications of what you said, but that tickles my anarchic chromosome. And, btw, I am a zen lover...
  23. What a laugh! Seller or buyer psychotic. Or both.
  24. Folks, he said he did not get from...
  25. Agree. I too think: stupid/pusher/criminal/politician = gen. Smart guy = fake. Oh my!!! ROFL!!!
