Sorry for this trouble exactly on your cherry watch. Those collectors used to have excellent reputation (I am confident that, should you ever decide to ask them for a replacement they will help), and I am concerned with all these issues that are coming out about their current performances. I know that already in the past they had down times -- due to recurring serious health problems to one of them, I heard. It maybe that also on these occasions it's something alike. Nothing than can sooth your trouble, I understand.

Maybe it is the watchsmith that is defective? Most likely the movement is ok, but who assembled the watch just placed the hour hand wrong. In order to fix it should be enough to remove the hands with the hour hand pointing at 8 o'clock, and placing them back with the hour hand pointing at 12 o'clock. A 5 minutes work to any watchsmith provided with a brain (not even a great brain).

I never worked on titanium, but I suppose that some fine sandpaper would make the job. You need to figure out what grain is needed for the final finish i.e. to give the area where you worked the same brushed look as the remaining surface. Most likely grain between 600 and 1200.

Great. Just consider that, English not being my language, to me it's like running on a single foot. I also tried not to make all nonsense posts.

40-50$ range is good for a strap headed to an inexpensive watch (sometimes to more expensive watches too), and it will make your watch look 100% better.

You lucky guy. The only flaw that I can ascribe to my stingray straps is that they are a little too stiff. But I like them at the point that I would wear them even if they were going to cut my wrist out.
