The arrows simply show you where the edge is so you can remove it. Certainly not as important as the TRL on the caseback sticker.....I really hope yours had one.

All of this is irrelevant. The circle is just a reminder to press in that area to extend/open the diver's extension. It has no magical powers. I removed the link with circle an the extension works as it should. Stop over thinking this and enjoy your watch.

If the dial and hands are Genuine and the movement has been serviced, I would say between $4000, and $4500. Box is irrelevant if not original to the watch.

The original 1680 crystal had a very small bevel. The early service crystals had straight sides(top hat) and the current service crystals have the larger bevel as yours.

How did you know he lost my brother's watch? Pisses me off. His wife gave it to him in lieu of a wedding ring(he has lost 2 of those) and he sent it too me for a quick fix. I took care of it and had it engraved as a surprise. Sent it form Nashville to New Orleans on Friday USPS Priority and it is nowhere to be found. Did you find it?
