I would like to correct The Zigmeister(A rare event indeed). You need to send it to The Zigmeister or have a qualified watchmaker open the case to sort this problem out.

I am thinking the Mid case is Gen. The caseback aftermarket. But it has the best feeling when it is screwed down and the rolex tool fits it perfectly.
Please comment on the watch pictured here. I can only say that the bacelet links are rep. and the bezel assembly is gen like but I don't think it is genuine Although the insert is a new genuine insert. I will say that gen springbars fit nicely. On to the pics:
Sounds like a problem in the auto wind system wheels.
A service should clear it up if you haven't damaged the gears by manually winding it while rough.
