  1. Welcome and one word..............................Sucka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have fun, Kurt
  2. Yep.....and oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  3. Man, I'd give almost anything for that watch..........like..... I'm just sayin'...........
  4. I am just not a fan of the "Oversize" craze...........
  5. Put it this way.......I wouldn't regret it and worse case, you will always have $3000.00 on your wrist......perhaps more. If nothing else, the Rolex sport watches increase in value.....always have. If you have always liked the subs.....it is a good deal.
  6. What is the value of your watches....cost to you? The 14060M is a great watch with a great movement that will hols it's value over time. I don't believe the Kobold will but the Doxa has a strong following and should hold value as well. just my $.02
  7. Different rehaut heights and case millings. An eta will not fit a gen case as a gen movement will not fit an MBW case without mods..
  8. Nothing....they are all sold or for sale
  9. um, for that look of being worn.........I just wear them........alot.
  10. Or, you could just buy this one: All Genuine Rolex except for the NDT mid-case and back: And I'll include this Gilt/gloss dial and gilt hands to make it period correct. 1962 1560 chronometer movement Freshly overhauled. You know you want it.......
  11. Very nice gesture and a beautiful watch. Sorry I couldn't help on this one but I am glad you were able to source it. Kurt.
  12. You may recall my watchmaker found an old Tudor Sub. Well we have a new Tudor dial from Rolex but they back-ordered the hands. Does anyone have a set of ETA no date sub hands you can spare? Many projects here were improved via the Gen parts I was able to source from this man and I want to help him finish his watch. Please PM if you can help and let me know the price. Regards, Kurt.
  13. My humble Domes: And with new/Old Seconds hand: The Vintage Trinity: And lastly, the Anti Dome:
  14. See my member trade review here:http://www.rwg.cc/members/Sleeper-deal-Sergeant-t95110.html See pics here: Only 1 watchmaker's mark to be found. Running spot on, winds like 'butta and at 35mm with a barely there bezel, wears nice and contemporary. Not bad for a watch that's over 60 years old. Kurt.
  15. @ just as good .. man where do you dig up these treasures.. .. I have not forgotten your Habanos... the whole chest needs to be humidified.. it was a drier winter than I expected.. soon my friend.. No worries, the pool is still too cold to enjoy just yet......however, I will say that I have a nice spot already picked out for my first heavenly draw......
  16. Aloha Lani........the watch looks like I should own it ;-). Here is a "WABI" ized gen : Enjoy it in good health Friend....you deserve it.
  17. and so it begins.........nice work and good luck with your footing on the slippery slope
  18. It can only be fixed with a new tube/crown install as the threading of these determine the final position....not worth the effort IMHO.....although it is nice when they work out as seen on my "Fat Gal"
  19. I am retired.......read Unemployed. I only work to pay the bills............unsuccessfully I might add
  20. Looks great Marty. I am glad it worked out.
  21. Well it seems this guy 'lock is bringin it strong! Another well laid out review. The watch looks great and your skillz wit da kodak is wak......sorry, I was just catching up on the news in New Orleans and I had a cultural relapse. I now await the next review.........don't leave us hangin'
  22. I haven't owned a Breitling for awhile but I had the Original Colt Gen (38mm I think)....it was a solid well built watch and it always felt great on my wrist. I think that for the money,......and errors aside, you've got a nice timepiece. Great job on the research and presentation of your findings. I wish I had the patience to review watches in this way. Breitling fans should thank you for such a nice in-depth review. regards, Kurt.
  23. Are you sure?heck your variables again....I swear this is the formula we use down in 'Nawlins to Tan Gator hide.....
