  1. Buying new is different. The papers cover warranty issues (Same as a car) Buying used, A car needs a clear title for me......the window sticker and warranty information don't matter and of course the box would be too big to worry about. Same as with the watch. If I am certain of the pedigree, the bax and papers take up space and don't matter.....to me.
  2. How much bronzer to use in your tanning solution for pelts and skins?
  3. >< Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhh........my eyes! One word.................um.........................never mind. Probably came with a free bowl of soup.........oh, but it looks good on you.
  4. Welcome......one question......Why'd you send him back? Political Humor sorry........if it is answers you seek.........then search and ye shall find. Good luck and enjoy your stay.
  5. Funny thing is, you can talk down the price because the papers aren't available, but you don't wear the papers or carry them around now do you? Unless you are a hardcore collector, The best deals can be had because the boxes and papers aren't available. It never mattered to me.......unless I was selling a watch.....then it brought a higher ask price......unless I know you
  6. Welcome, I am sure I speak for everyone when I say........Show some pics.....I bet you have quite a collection.
  7. Sophia trying to decide how to dress her curves..... Damn she's Sexy!
  8. Are you looking to buy one? If so, send me a PM or email me your price point.......Kurt.

  11. Great pics Lani and the watch couldn't have gone to a nicer guy.....she is very lucky to be strapped to your...........um........wrist. Now, who want a TT Blue Submariner late 80's for ...................................
  12. Thanks for the input. The case, hands, crystal and crown/tube are all genuine. Yes the crown/tube is the 702. Yes the dial is a big mess and yes, there was no collaboration between Tudor and Blancpain. This watch is being cobbled together by my watchmaker, for my watchmaker. I ordered a beezel from Clark and I have a Rivet bracelet I bought from 'nuq (I think) but it needs the end pieces. I think we will try to get the blue snowflake dial and blue insert. Then, perhaps a trip to The Zigmeister to match the lume on the dial and hands.
  13. O.K., perhaps you remember my request to help my watchmaker who has done alot for many members here....anonomously of course. And I mentioned he came across an old Tudor watch in some old trash he was about to toss out. I am trying to help him find a bezel and band for it. Well, here are the pictures of this odd Franken: Case is marked: 9401/0 and serial #847368 Any help you can give to pull this one together would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Kurt
  14. This is a 14060.....and all 14060, 14060m and 14060COSC have lug holes. I would hold out for the 14060M......it has the improved movement with upgraded balance bridge. Price will be between $2400 and $3000.00 Kurt.
  15. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  16. Dude, that cardigan is a definate "Rep". The stitching is too loose and the loops are too wide...all tells that even a Sweater Novice like me can spot.....oh, Nice watch though
  17. And they say people who buy replica watches are the scum of society.................this family is all class! Great gesture.
  18. Thanks 'Nuq, insert is not an issue. Not sure of the edge.Any sub type bezel would work. Thhanks again my friend. Kurt
  19. Sorry, I should have said it is a Sub. I may have the ref. # wrong. Thanks, Kurt
  20. My watchmaker found an old Tudor 9410/0. It has the snowflake hands but a badly refinished Minute track dial with the round lots. The movement is from an old Blancpain (at least the rotor is marked as such). Apparently this was an attempt to piece together a watch. He has had it for over 10 years. He just found it in a box of crap he was going through. The problem is that it is missing the bezel. It has he crystal compression ring, but no bezel. Please help if you can or if you have an old MBW project that you would like to sell. Thanks in advance, Kurt.
  21. From Moi in our MBW 1680 for SSD trade.....I threw them in Gratis.......Rob really did a great job on them.
  22. That is a stunner and the pics look great. Enjoy it in good health!
