  1. Lovely seeing all of these. Please make sure you ask for appropriately-tall hour markers, instead of the thin metal strips that DW currently puts on his dials.
  2. Fantastic! Wish I'd bought a Date or Day-Date rep when they were still available.
  3. Mixed-media bund... I like it!
  4. Speaking only for myself, I would love to wear a Daytona Yachtie, a Pulsometer 6239, or a dark silver 6238. These are for my own enjoyment, and I wouldn't be wearing these at a Rolex GTG, anyway! Good luck on these dials, rolojack! I've already spent a considerable sum on Daytona builds, but [insert Michael Corleone/Godfather 3 quote here].
  5. Why V3 bracelet? Because endlinks!
  6. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the picture you posted.
  7. Haven't worn this monster in ages. You're the bee's knees, baby! I missed you bad...
  8. whoever: I had one meal at Guangzhou, and it was terrible. If you're going to GZ from, say, Shanghai or Hong Kong, I suggest you pack a lunch! You could try contacting offshore, and ask if he has any recommendations. With a little luck, you might even get another great story out of him.
  9. I'm actually wearing the gen, but it doesn't have a photo that's nearly as nice! More like the "golden five minutes"! The light was just perfect for that tiny window. Nice town, that Avignon.
  10. They also highlight the insanity of the builds themselves!
  11. It's great to see By-Tor's pics again. GST gets some wrist time after a long break:
  12. Phenomenal build, J. Wear it proudly. I've currently got one watch with Zigmeister--the first time I've ever employed his services on a project. I think I can rest easy!
  13. Really wonderful watch, ww! 6542s make me jealous.
  14. You have no idea what a massive headache the 7032 has been for me. You'll see! (By the way, where did you get that pointy-tailed sweep hand?) janeto72: Now those are the lugs that drive people crazy!
  15. Really good result, irate03. The texture and relume make the dial and hands so much more interesting visually.
  16. I'm getting a kick out of the sudden outbreak of 1016 fever, too, but he really should've waited four more days!
  17. This Dufonte is not what I would call a looker, but it's what's inside that counts...
  18. Thanks, and sorry for the late response! It's a 2nd-generation (i.e. 1960s) Seamaster 300 built entirely out of genuine Omega parts. You can read about it here.
  19. Superb dial and bezel, J! I would also compliment you on the case, but we can hardly see anything in that shot.
