  1. Another choice find R! Well done! Looks quite nice! BTW, great looking strap too!
  2. Seasons Greetings to you F! and to the rest of the RWG family!
  3. Love the color F! Looks fantastic. And I agree with PeteM, the PVD radiomir case sets it off nicely! Well done and happy holidays to you my friend!
  4. Wasn't this Lani as a young boy? Definitely deserving of some major recognition Lani! You have rocked this forum this year my friend! All the best to you in 2010!!
  5. WOW!!! I love it! DLC coated, no CG's, military style sword hands and the CF insert is quite unique!
  6. Going with the Tudor 9411 for Monday as well (assuming it arrives on schedule from the post office!)
  7. First attempts are always interesting, arent' they? Don't give up though. It takes years of practice and broken bits but in the end it is a very fun little hobby and when you do fix something yourself for the first time, the elation and excitement are unparalleled! If I were you, I would look into the non-marring hand placement tools that jmb was selling. I don't have one, but they look the biz and would probably help you in the long run. It's a long, arduous process working on watches, but worth it in the end. Don't give up on your project. As I noticed earlier today, Lani had an IWC Ingy that took two years to complete but its a work of art!!! G/L with your future repairs!
  8. I would concur on the VC. Nice, elegant, slim. All round great looking watch:
  9. Thanks so much Pre V!! I couldn't agree more. Ziggy did a superb job on the Vintage Tritium mix on the re-lume. It's a perfect color and matches up nicely with the acrylic pearl eddog found for the insert. As for the aged insert, it came that way with the case that I purchased from Marble so it was just ready to go. Cheers!
  10. Great pictorial review Stephane. It's a beautiful, simple, understated watch that looks quite exceptional!
  11. No Rep that i know of (yet) but it is a really really cool watch! One of my favorites for sure!
  12. Thanks JB! Not sure about the thickness, but I will try to find out for you when I get to my office on Monday (where all my tools are).
  13. That is why I moved to Los Angeles.....to get away from having to shovel all that snow! And there's nothing worse than just finishing up the driveway only to have the snow plow come by and pile up a nice 4' high snow drift at the end of the driveway
  14. Going out and decided to switch it up for the VC Overseas for the evening:
  15. Seems a little high for a custom one off, doesn't it?
  16. Thanks Anguz! It's definitely love for me Should be back on my wrist this week. It's just sitting at the post office (for some reason, the postman will not come to the rear entrance of our office to deliver anything other than an envelope!) I'll have to pick it up on Monday.
  17. Wearing my SwissFish again today:
  18. Ahh...we'll just stick to the 5 min one just cause it's almost Christmas Of course, I'm not saying he should be out shagging every babe with a pulse, but the media hype has gotten way out of control lately. Look at how much attention Jon & Kate plus 8 got this year. I mean, come on! This is news worthy????
  19. Great photos of an awesome watch!!! Nothing like a two year wait for a great watch! Enjoy!
  20. Sorry Pete, but I have disagree. The only one who has undermined Tiger Woods' image is the media and papparazzi. His statement which he finally released a week later was well stated: While I think that the endorsements should equate to a role-model, ie: someone who sets an excellent example among his peers, I agree with his statement that his personal life should not be under a microscope every single day. If you or I had an affair we wouldn't have to offer up a public statement explaining our actions. Why should he have to do the same? Celebrity or not, all persons are entitled to some privacy.
  21. I'm a visual kind of guy...... post some pics so we can see what were looking at! Price sounds good. P.S. How's the regulateur coming along?
  22. Looking good Lani! Can't wait to see the finished projects!
  23. Congrats on your first year! I've got a few months to go yet before my one year anniversary, but I couldn't have said it better. This is such a great community and we are all better having you here!
