  1. Vac deserves his good reputation!
  2. The bottom line is that dealers don't want you to reject too many watches in the QC photo process. That is their own problem. You are going to pay hundreds of dollars for a watch and should ask for the opinion of someone with an eye for "what is good and what is bad" Yes there will be over-analyzation of the watch photos but you have to filter out the hyper-critical comments on your own. Listen to the reasonable comments and ignore the comments of the chronic disparagers.
  3. Ohhh! Great tip. Here's a better image ... DAILY WEAR plexi!! Repolished to perfection ...

There are only preliminary photos of a prototype available. Who knows?
  5. Lol leave it to tapatalk to post the tiniest photo possible. That's like a postage stamp. You only get two options. 28kb microfilm size or 5mb world map size.
  6. I discovered this for myself a week ago and it works nicely on my Clark's ...
  7. The video clearly shows an asian clone. Notice at 00:30 you can clearly see the reversing wheels only have four holes. Josh's site photos show a true Swiss ETA. These are two different watches.
  8. Titanium with a bead blasted surface will always be problematic ... if you like it you should get it
  9. Hello ... this watch style is available from many dealers. Some are now out of production but others can be had. Silix seems to have the most shown on his web page. It takes a while to load. Look here ----------> http://www.silix-pri...-c-116_255.html ** his server appears to be freaking out. The link, however, is correct.
  10. These have the bad 10 issue, and the bezel insert is not plastic, it is ceramic. Try to scratch it without using someone's diamond ring. I dare you.
  11. The WM9 factory is closed. There are no more new watches available. Either buy one used from a member here, or send a private message to BKLM1234 to ask about his new "best" Submariner, the TW model.
  12. That's a beautiful watch. For some reason they always seem to look better in motion on a video than the plain dealer's web photos. That's an asian cloned swiss movement in there. It's a good piece, internally .. no mystery junk powering this one.
  13. How about the long list of reputable dealers on the main page of this forum?
  14. He's using text messaging speech to talk to you. He didn't mean dssd v4. He meant "for sale" and typed "4 sale".
  15. Yes, some dealers wont guarantee delivery to certain countries. Italy is a famous one. It's a shame you have to pay the going Cartel rate.
  16. I just noticed that you are not looking at the FORUM MEMBER DISCOUNT PAGE on TimesShop. This is the watch you want. OK? See? It pays to ask questions. http://www.timesshop...eta-2836-2.html
  17. The pictures and videos are of a two year old NoobFactory v3 DSSD with bad ten and bulging pearl. It's a bad version. Confirm with TimesShop that these are merely old photos and not the actual version you will receive. Noobfactory is far beyond this watch in versions, currently.
  18. There's a forum-trusted (on RWI) watch technician in the Midwest. He's very reasonable and does good work. Shoot an email to GKloner (at) gmail.com for info and quotes.
  19. Would that dog still be licking it if he knew it was donkey balls?
  20. Of course .. hehe ... the more expensive one is the new *** ceramic *** Submariner .. just read the title And as for judging the BK Taiwan Best vs a Noobfactory sub ... I am no expert at all on modern Submariners. I don't qualify to pass judgement.
  21. Well! Isnt that a conversation starter!
  22. You are quoting a single unit retail price. A factory would be paying a bulk price. Maybe 1000 or more pieces at a time? As for the rest of the watch .. a normal A21j 3-handed watch in Asia sells on the street for $45. Making the body of a watch costs way less than you imagine. Even for the so-called Swiss makers. And yes; of course you can tell an asian clone ETA from a real one.
