The real problem is the lack of quality control at the watch factory. Your watch might be designed to be waterproof but if the assembler forgets to put in your rubber gaskets ... oops! There is no inspector to find this fault. Modern high quality replicas with screw-down (or lever sealed like PAM) crowns can be made waterproof. Its just a matter of proper gaskets. They normally have these in place but there is no guarantee.

He is not a dealer, so he does not have a fancy web site. BK is a modder and he can be contacted right here on this forum. Send a PM to the member BKLM1234 Look in his personal forum here on this web site .. BK's Watch Garage

This does not represent everyone. Yes, of course; if you somehow can not be pleased for whatever internal reason with anything less than the best then crack open your bank vault and go for it.

BK has moved on to a newer "best" model. It's called the BK Taiwan Best Sub ... he offers lots of upgrades on top of the base watch but it's the best out there right now. If you don't want to pony up that kind of money, the N-Factory Sub is still the go-to Sub for mid range prices. I have no experience in removing the entire bezel, sorry. Search for the posts by Gioarmani showing the watch completely exploded, with close up pics of everything.

A replica can be waterproof. All it takes is a good design and good QC. Do you have dry white rice? if you cant get silica gel paks then you can always use a sealed container with dry uncooked rice to suck out the water from the watch.

The Montauk Highway runs through the heart of the Hamptons in New York and for some distance along the cliffs overhanging the Atlantic Ocean. My summer house is locked up for the winter but when I go out there in a few months, I'll post pics. But that is why it's accented as blue, probably. Altho the Atlantic up here is a green ocean, not blue

Even tho the dealers here can be trusted for good watches and good after-sales-service, NEVER pay them to service your watch pre-shipment. That is just foolish. You have no idea what level of quality you are going to get out of that "service". Before I can answer your question, you have to answer one for me: what is your price range for this "good sub".

Absolutely not, sexy elf lady.

Mmm Hm. Thought so.

Taking the cheap crap strap off of a "luxury" replica improves it immediately. Very good job.

Pleased to meet you, and enjoy your stay here. Ask as many questions as you like.

A 3-handed watch like this one .. hours, minutes, seconds .. can have any one of a number of movements in it from quartz, to piece of crap Chinese, to pure genuine Swiss .. it all depends on what you are willing to pay for the added cost of a good movement. spring powered movements in replica watches fall into three or four catagories 1 - awful half-assed Chinese movement normally called "WTF?!" 2 - Chinese copies of quality Japanese movement, normally called A21j types 3 - Chinese copies of Swiss movements normally called Asia Clone types 4 - Real Swiss movements normally called Swiss ETA There are new ultra-realistic Chinese Rolex clone movements now too .. but they are so new, no one knows the quality. So ... number one is always a bad idea. Number two can be OK if you are lucky. Number 3 is pretty darn good, and number four is best.

Please be aware that altho Tanya is well-meaning, this member is one of the pickiest Panerai lovers of all, sporting a mostly Gen franken 1950 ... so don't be too sad. The people on the forums range in emotion from "oh that is good enough" to "nothing is ever good enough" ... and everything in between. There are mods to be performed on your watch. There are mods to be performed on any replica watch. It all depends upon your own feelings and what you will accept as "good enough". I will say tho that 300USD is a little stiff for an asian 1950 without a decent strap. Don't be discouraged; I bought a lemon my first time ... many people do.

Who is making the best DSSD replica right now?
Jkay replied to frankbullitt's topic in The Rolex Area
that sounds good. can't wait to see it. -

I am surprised that if you send a watch out to be buffed and polished (bracelet) that you were not asked "Ummm ... do you want me to buff out the huge gouges on this watch case as well??" Oh well. Now you will never know if it was the original owner or the modder who roughed up your watch.

Pete ... are you trying to give me a heart attack? There are no photos here

It looks like a pair of scissors was used to open the case back and it slipped. Yes, some people use scissors on Rolex case backs. I'm sorry for your trouble. Sometimes I don't understand why a particular modder gets so much acclaim, when the pics posted of their work often suck.

Probably "Day of the Week" and "Date" ... that's standard stuff.
