Funny you should mention Vince Guaraldi .. my friend is the executor of his estate, and I was able to aquire a pre-release (by almost a year) copy of his latest CD (Trio Live on the Air), the masters for which were found by Vince's son in his dad's desk drawer. Really great music.

That's a normal Eurotimez/TrevorTime dial and insert, with an improved (domed) pearl. PureTime sells both the Cartel/BK DSSD and the "ETZ/TT" DSSD nowm as the "V6" and the "V7" And yes, I love the slender surrounds too. It's my favorite dial.

Speak of the devil! Someone asks about the latest SuperOcean and the next day a forum dealer posts a notice that a 1:1 version has become available! I do like the yellow version.

People with 127's have a hard decision to make. Just like the flurry of franken PAM sales 4-5 months ago ahead of the Cartel release of it's famous new models, the Cartel 1950 will be here in a few months, and it's going to de-value all the frankens out there *if* it's good enough. So ... what do you do? Do you try and sell NOW at full price to someone who is unaware that a super-rep is coming, or hold onto your franken, and enjoy it but accept you will not be able to sell it for 1/2 you spent on it in the future.
