As for the crooked markers, you might ask for another watch but honestly, I see this a lot. Your next example will probably have them, too ... it's a replica, after all.

My white 1680 has seen JMB's "bucket of chips" so I have nothing against an aged watch.
If you are going to use a professional case back die and t-handle then you might as well also purchase a case clamp! It screws down permanently to a work table and holds the case tightly in soft brass fingers so it can not move while you are using the handle and die.
