Remember that even the Gen is rated for only 1000 gauss ... so ... using a rare earth magnet stuck to the back of the watch could be way over the tolerance of even a Gen Milgauss. edit: I just looked it up, and even a small NIB (rare earth) magnet is 2000 gauss. So placing a strong magnet on an anti-magnetic watch will always overpower it's protective shell.

I should have known that someone who still makes that world their home would sniff this out. I've been out of that kind of scene for probably 15 years and you forget how much ownership you feel when you are tightly connected.

Due to the very nature of Botnet attacks, there is no way to trace the owner, unless some serious time and effort are expended. You would have to: 1> find the correct bot swarm's channel (out of very many) on one of many IRC networks 2> wait around for the owner to pop in, and find out where he is logging in from 3> pray that information is useful ... 80% chance it's worthless, since the owner could be anyone or could be disguising his access IP address. The only fruitful way to find out who is doing this is if someone squeals ... hang out on one of many IRC channels used by this type of person and wait for someone to brag. That could take months of work.

If you can find a current Noobfactory bezel insert, and have it fitted, then you will have a watch as good as the current model. Your dial markers look great, and it puzzles me why a noob case set has a TrevorTime insert and a really good looking dial. This should not exist. The only reason a factory Cartel dssd should have a Trevor bezel insert is if it is an older v3. This is to fix the "bad 10" problem from 18 month ago. BUT the v3 dial markers are terrible looking, and yours look very gen-like. And your case set is definitely cartel (noobfactory) ... So a mystery. Acquire a current cartel insert with dome pearl and you are good!

Was this watch re-lumed? The hours markers are quite good. Too good for a v3, but why else would here be a eurotimez/TrevorTime insert on a noobfactory case set? Hm!

This is a v3 noobfactory dssd produced during the "bad 10" era, two years ago. The bezel insert was replaced with a TrevorTime "correct 10" insert and sold from the dealer as new with the modified insert, to correct the factory's mistake. The Noobfactory has progressed 3 versions beyond this in two years. The newest has thinner more correct hour markers, and a nicer insert triangle and pearl. It really is a pretty watch. If I didn't have a The Zigmeister-fied eurotimez dssd, I would sell it on and get the newest iteration for myself.

A few years back, I was on vacation in New Hampshire, and driving down the road when a baby moose (as big as a small car) and the mama moose (bigger than my car) jumped out of the brush and started running down the road next to me, keeping pace next to my side window. What a rush that was. From your photo, I bet people here have NO IDEA how big a moose is. I bet they are imagining a large deer. Not even close. Try 6x bigger than that.

You simply can not get away from the Panerai marketing machine on television in the USA .. every TV show has Panerai on wrists.

7750 movement only auto-winds in one direction. It needs more than 800 motions to fully wind. If you spin it in your hand the wrong direction, it will not wind at all. If you spin it 20x ... that is a very small amount. 850x .. 870x ... is fully wound

Yes, Sony disabled the ability to multi-boot into different operating systems a couple of years ago. That hacker in California was taken down by Sony and the DMCA by distributing the technology to re-enable the ability to run Linux.
