  1. That sounds nice. I hope the round-trip to China and back is safe for your watch.
  2. Did he thank you for your advice? I'm still waiting for mine.
  3. Then you come into this Forum and read a slew of posts from new members saying "I bought my first rep .. the most complicated chronograph watch I could find! And it stopped running after 2 months!!"
  4. I just realized what is wrong with the teak. It looks like you are wearing a bracelet made of human hair.
  5. WHO990 on eBay sells sapphire FM crystals. I watch the gen dials on eBay as well. I know several people here have gen dials in their FM reps but I have not personally done this yet. The fm crazy reps use the rock-solid a21j movement with a jumping modification. Don't worry about the stability of the base movement. To avoid incorrect case backs, always ask for photo approval before shipment and TELL your dealer what a correct case back SAYS so they can have a good chance of finding one.
  6. I'm sorry you two, but this is not going to work. You can not buy a A21j watch and then later drop an eta or eta clone into it. The dial and all the hands are the wrong size. End of story. You would have to source the correct eta hands ... And cut the mounting feet off the dial, then glue the dial in place. But why go to that trouble.
  7. Swiss movements can come to you in 3 ways. 1- Inside of an airtight blister package ... These are the best to buy. 100% perfect from the ETA factory, oiled and ready to go. 2- inside of a plastic shell ... These are bulk packages used by manufacturers. If you buy one in a hard plastic shell you have no idea if it needs service. Even if it has never been used, it might have been in a warehouse for 10 years and totally dry/gummed 3- inside of a watch you buy on eBay.
  8. Watch oil evaporates and turns to gum/sludge over time, regardless of how little you use the watch. And there is really no such thing as a watch movement breaking irreparably .. it's made of parts, and parts can be replaced.
  9. I'm surprised they didnt wrestle that wrist grenade away from you at the security check-point.
  10. Often times, these counterfeit goods expose stories come across as if the author is slyly trying to get the word out that these awesome items exist. When he says "many of these shoes are so good, only an expert could tell they are fake" it tells me he is impressed and is trying to send a message.
  11. I have noticed that some people think "SSD" is the name of the genuine watch, and advertise their non-SSD as such ... Super Sea-Dweller is a kind of replica, folks not a version of the genuine Sea-Dweller.
  12. Hello, and welcome to the replica collector's help line First thing ... Swiss and Asian 77x0 movement rotors only wind in one direction not both. The clicking you hear from the rotor is it free-wheeling in the direction it does not wind. Have you tried to gently wind it by the crown 40x .. slowly and gently! The swiss and asian 77x0 movement does not like to be hand wound! Since you do not say where in the World you are, I assume it's the USA. There are a few watchmakers on the Forums who can easily service and repair a 77x0 movement. Trusted watchsmith "14060 or 16610?" on RWI publicly states his price for a 7750 as $175 USD Since this is your first replica watch, Im going to just assume this is your first mechanical watch as well, and there is a 90% chance you simply don't understand how one works and are assuming incorrectly that it is broken. I hope this is the case. Let us know how winding the watch works out. PS - don;t feel bad about your 7750 .. they all need service! It's not just yours. If you have it fixed by someone who knows the proper procedures, it will certainly run for you for another 5 trouble free years.
  13. perfectclonesfor.me is Josh's new domain name. It appears in all his YouTube videos.
  14. So what's the word on hand production? Are there hands in the works as well, or ?
  15. OH they are pressed from sintered metal. I see .. Thanks
  16. I'm no Rolex expert but the last time I checked, the Trusted dealers here had literally hundreds of different Rolex models and dial/bezel/bling combinations. 45 seconds spent on Perfect Clones turned up this:
  17. The Rolex DeepSea video someone posted last year showed the same procedure .. a mega-tonne press stamping out case blanks from a sheet of steel.
  18. I thought the narrator says that the case is initially stamped from sheet steel, then CNC milled. Just like a rep would be.
  19. Awesome post dug from the earth and deposited in your queue
  20. The routed plexi back plate is just astounding. I hope people notice that this dial is not filled .. it's a full back plate with machined numerals fitted into a dial.
  21. I would say that you have a wonderful example of a Noobfactory/BK DSSD right there, and I hope you enjoy it.
  22. Looks good!! Congratulations on crossing the finish line of this project. Is it at all Gen to have gold hands? I don't know if I like the blue. (just so everyone is clear, this is not the new dial .. it's a photo of a gen, to show what this new dial is used for)
