I think the bulbous crown is just a reflection...the 6:00 side of the crown looks right...any opinions on the rest?

I kind of want it not to glow....here's the original hands on the watch:
-
Hey folks - I am going to relume a Minute hand to match the original tritium on and Hour Hand and I need some advice. The original minute hand was damaged, so I am buying a replacement and removing it's "new" lume. It doesn't need to glow (the hour hand doesn't glow either), so I was thinking about using Testers and mixing White and a dot of brown to get the beige that I'm after. Is this the right a way to get it done? Any help is greatly appreciated.

...and done. I haven't been around much as of late...the wife and I just had our first baby...and all my free time has been going into prepping for the arrival. But...I finally got off my butt and finished up the 3717. It now sports: • Gen Caseset (Case, Case Back, Movement Holder, Crystal, Pushers, Crown, Etc..) • Gen Dial • Gen Hands (and I think the silver on the hands is worth it) • Gen Date wheel and German Day wheel. I know the 3717 didn't technically come with it, but I think it looks pretty cool! • Swiss 7750 • Modded Bracelet Clasp • Standard Rep Bracelet and Endlinks I'll take some better pictures soon!

Well more proof to the awesomeness of mesh. While at a family Christmas party two family members comented on how nice my watch was. That never happens!

Looks great. But I have to say, a full gen bezel makes a huge difference. Find and used Yuki case and spend the $$$ on the bezel. You won't be sorry. And congrats on the kids to you and Zeleni. I've got my first on the way. He'll be here in April...

Cougar get one! Nanuq it's a 42mm so it has 20mm lugs. The 45mm does have 22s though. Mike I'm lucky enough that it fits on the largest hole without an extension perfectly!

Anybody ever notice how good the 42mm Planet Ocean looks on Omega Mesh? Cuz' Dang....It looks good! This is my Gen. 42mm PO on a Gen. Older Style Omega Mesh... I tried the same bracelet on my Vintage Seamaster 300 Diver, and it didn't look great..but it does on the PO....

If a franken is bringing a rep to life...the the other direction must be "zombying"... You could always buy a used Gen. bracelet...they usually sell for $300-$400....

Hey Guys - A friend of mine is going to Singapore and I mentioned that I have the best travel resource in the world....you guys! So, here's the scoop from my friend - any suggestions would be great - my friends are world travelers - they've been almost everywhere - they are in the their mid-60's but are very active...they are planning on going Mid-February "We are looking for a 3 or 4 star hotel that is in an area/district that is located in the center of all that there is to see, close to the rail line so as to see the things that are not close, and safe to walk to and from at night. In other words we don't want to have to take a taxi to whatever to see what there is to see and we don't mind a mile or so walk." Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! db2
