    This is the money shot Grim. I went to my local Panerai watch dealer (not the Panerai boutique) today and inspected a 201/a. I saw exactly this effect on the indices' lacquer fill. I was wearing my Rolli/FGD 201/a and was very tempted to do a side by side comparo. Discretion won the day.

    Just wanted to share my latest build to this classic thread. Better late than never Rolli/FGD 002/009 dial and hands Hfact case Sead CG DSN preV crown and tube Jakob caseback Simona strap Seagull movement cleaned and oiled by me. This dial was much maligned when first introduced. I wish I purchased more than one. Thanks for looking.

    IIRC, someone did a side by side comparison of a gen OP6502 case and Hfact 005 on Wristcheck. Too bad WC shut down, but perhaps the person who posted it is a member here as well. Bottom line, it proved conclusively that the Hfact 005 was pretty close to the OP6502. Lug comparison: 111J on top and Hfact 005 at bottom.

    Grim makes OCD fun! Learned something new today. When I read one of Rolli's earlier posts referring to DSN's new 'French' crystals, I assumed it was a typo for 'Fresh'. DSN always gives his new product versions a nick name, like 'New Born.' Now I know these are actually from France! I'll be ordering a few. Thanks Rolli and Grim.

    Finally got these in the mail today after a bit of waiting due to the Chinese New Year holiday here in the little red dot. The dials... nothing much more to say The strap is a Dirk with an EFL buckle from our friend in Athens. Hope to post my build soon!

    Oooh. We can make a game out of this. I'm gonna take a stab at naming your cases pictured from top to bottom: - 111J with Avitt DLC - Old school DSN PVD Case - 111J (at least the left lug looks it) --> I'd use this for the 201/a - New Born DSN case - H fact 005 case at bottom (I say this because of the curvature of the left lug). I think the latest DSN cases (the ones after New Born, not pictured) are your best bet if you want them to look consistent. Otherwise wolf 111J for the 201/a and latest DSn for your 202/a.

    Nice pickup and amazing collection! When you get a chance, could you please take 360 degree pics of the case please? I'm curious of the case would work well for a vintage build.

    Looking at your wristie, the CP diameter looks pretty small compared to the other 512s i've seen posted. Looks spot on to the gen! Can't wait to get mine.

    What's the power reserve on this baby? I thought I saw another rep movement review with 2 barrels which had a PR of 9 days?
