  1. I'm not sure about the size fitting but you will have an issue with the dial feet and the rep movement ring. It will be a little bit of an issue to fit.
  2. I don't think so. It falls in the under the copyright infringement rules. Reported.
  3. As far as lack of mother, I don't see how's that relevant or strange. There are single parents raising kids all over the country. Who's knows, maybe the mother bailed because she couldn't cope a disabled child. Emotional father, if that was one of my daughters I would be angry and felling betrayed for a long long time. Not only he had trusted those teachers like many parents do but they've dismissed his daughter's rightful complaints without a single effort to investigate. And to think this happened for years and you couldn't help your kid? I'd be mad at the whole system for life. The sad thing for many teaching is a job that pays some bills, it's not a career or a calling. I bet those women had no patience whatsoever to deal with disable children but kept at it for lack of a better job. There's no excuse for the district not to investigate such allegations. My mother was a special ed teacher for most of my young life. I've seen first hand her dedication and personal sacrifice to make those kids succeed and many did. It did not come easy and at times she would feel frustrated and drained. However that would never be an excuse to mistreat her kids. Those women should be prevented from ever getting close to a classroom again. I'm so glad we have technology today to expose such abuse. I wonder how many suffered over the years in the hands of such horrible people.
  4. I'd rather mod the top plate on the rep movement to get the CDG engraving, the minute wheel and screws visible. I'm with the guys here, why spend a ton of cash to make your watch look like crap? The DW out of place kills the watch face.
  5. at least they are exploring natural movements haha
  6. that's the mod I'm considering. It shouldn't be too hard to do.
  7. and people didn't believe me they would cheap out
  8. movement too? with that nice jewel holding the sec 12 o'clock gear
  9. Check this out http://puretimewatch.com/product/bez-royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-ruben-barrichello-ii-in-titanium-v2/ http://puretimewatch.com/product/bez-ap-royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-ruben-barrichello-ii-in-titanium-v2-teardown-review/ Fixed sec@12 Cut out dial
  10. well, always but what was the question again?
  11. normally it's best NOT to post pictures of the packaging the dealers use or any details about how the items are shipped. You never know who's watching.
  12. hey this detective thing could work for me I basically used the pics on TV from Monday
  13. I tried that in several many ways. The bezel can't be locked and it's a pain to try that. I've even tried boiling the case. Destroyed my fingers and got maybe 2 mm movement on the insert.
  14. that was I thought initially when I saw that scene in slow motion but after that there are 2 scenes (trying to grap Taub's coffee cup and eating popcorn outside of patient's room) that show full frontal closeup pics of the watch. That's definitely a Hamilton Khaki King. Here's the side view of the watch CG and buckle for comparison. and to seal the deal (and the case)
  15. I'm trying to transplant the V1 insert to my V2 Ploprof but I'm having a horrible time removing the insert from the V1 case. Has anyone done that? Any pointers?
  16. if they are so worry about it, pay the service center $600-800 to replace the movement, or buy a high grade 6497-2 for $400
  17. I was actually shocked that the Risti folks couldn't believe Panerai would cheap out. Corporations these days will do anything to increase profit margins, even if that means using a $50 movement on a $4K watch.
  18. can I hire this guy to answer my telemarketers calls?
  19. haha no. silly me but the comment that there was a panerai deployant visible when he knocked on Wilson's door last night is incorrect. He was wearing yet another Hamilton last night.
  20. Think about it. The guy just got off 1 yr stint in jail. He has filed for bankruptcy. He makes minimal wage at the hospital being a ex-con on parole. He would be wearing a watch worth a couple hundred bucks not several thousands. I have it on DVR and I just reviewed all the watch shots. Definitely not a PAM and not a deployant. The watch looks like a Hamilton Khaki King
  21. Not a PAM, there's a very clear shot of the watch face when he tries to grab Taub's coffe cup in his office. It's some sort of Hamilton with a Rolex style crown guard. There's also a good shot when he's eating popcorn outside the patient's room. BTW, the buckle was a tang style.
