  1. and the 32GB for $179. That's not sold by Sears but by some other company. Going to their web site and their Sears store front the 16GB is listed at $740!!! (directly from Apple that model costs $499). Something's strange though.
  2. Sorry but this won't work with the ROO. This is a generic process that would work with many models but the ROO build is complex. The crystal can't be replaced with the bezel in place. Check my thread.
  3. you buy watch grease and put on them Seriously, you remove them and apply a thin layer of grease so they don't dry and crack with time. Check the last pic, you can see the red/black grease box there.
  4. Big Egi homage. Sorry but I'm not sure if there's anything exciting there. There are several homages out there.
  5. No factory has been able to replicate the finish of the G series bridges. If you really want a good 127 you will need to replace the movement. That's the first thing people will want to see. The front loading El cases will be preferable if you want a good rep. As for the Angus model listed above, save your money. That's a POS. DSN is not that great either but it's better than that.
  6. I have to dog in this fight but this sounds like the self promotion you have accused concepta to do. All I know is I've seen the work and the happy customers on his side ... having said that, a sales/dealer section for IWC parts is not a bad idea.
  7. no such thing here. The upstairs unit was working hard so sleeping was OK. Anything else that depended on downstairs (cooking, working on my office, etc) was an inferno. I hope never to see that again with 100+ degrees outside.
  8. yes, I've asked for my account to be deleted given the fact your owner is a crazy crook. I wonder how you can't check it. However one doesn't need to log in to see that kind of things that spill over: stealing raffle money, asking raffle owners to return their prizes, asking the membership to pony up money to pay for Julio's transgressions that happened with full knowledge of his partner, denying wrong doing, etc.
  9. normally you should PM the admin staff before bringing these situation in the open but 2 months seems excessive.
  10. Interesting, you're the one that brought up how things work at RG. Your previous words led me to believe your were claiming RG and it's staff is vastly superior in your quest of ridding the Internet of scammers. Of course that doesn't apply to your board's owners. What I can't stand is someone that should know better to come here, riding a unapologetic high horse and say a word about the great staff we have here. With the glass ceiling your guys have over your board, that's ironic. And I'm sorry, I'm not going to move along when this much hypocrisy is in front of me. As to bring anything up at RG, that only leads to things being thrown under the rug and members banned.
  11. the drama comes from a person that should know better than complain publicly about a staff that's nothing short of stellar. Funny how most of the drama around here comes from RG's spill over. PS: I wonder what would happen if a staff from some other board would create this kind of public scorn against the RG staff there. Oh wait, we all know that. BANNED, since that's the standard of HELP the RG staff has in store for the members that dare to question anything.
  12. Funny, this seems contradictory. PS: I did not see an apology there. Great way to make friends and ask for HELP
  13. nice piece. Maybe I'm spoiled with my home Internet access but who in the world is still concerned about modems? That's actually a question, I'd like to know.
  14. that bugs me a lot. I wonder if there's a way to fix that. Could you shoot pics of the open caseback? I wonder if there's a simple mod to fix this.
  15. so they have not authenticated ANY of the watches? eesh
  16. The OEM AR is not that great either. Keep as is. DSN is definitely not a better option.
  17. mark it as HAZMAT Class 7 Radioactive. I doubt Customs agents would want to get close to it.
  18. this is typical of Rads. My guess is the strap bar wasn't positioned correctly when they put the screw in. It's an easy fix. Try to remove the screw and set the strap bar again.
  19. the actual value is not really $1M. They assume the retail value of the real watch to calculate these bogus numbers. Don't get me wrong, 1,500 watches is still quite a loss for whoever was stupid enough to ship that many together.
  20. I doubt they will release a v3, at least not for another year. as lume on the timing ring, forget it. you best bet is The Zigmeister or Vac.
  21. thx but I'm interested in one specific for the DSSD. You can see by 1976's pic how the strap fits on the lugs.
  22. interesting, details on the rubber strap?
  23. not only that, he doesn't contribute anything here (only posts to make excuses for RG) and wants to tell the admins here how to handle the disputes demanding IP addresses, etc. What a joke.
