  1. Try this. Select the crystal gasket from the drop down menu http://www.esslinger.com/plasticigasketssoldperea-1.aspx
  2. believe me, they are not red The best is to wait for a member to get one (many coming next week) and post wrist shots.
  3. not sure if I follow (I don't see any red hands). Remember, there's a blue AR on that crystal. Depending on angle and lighting the hands will look diff from bezel dot and button. I'd be very surprised if they had bothered to make a new batch of hands at all. They are probably the same as the V1.
  4. well the lume application is not that great but either The Zigmeister or Vac can fix that.
  5. The pic posted by mastrmindalliance is a QC shot. The factory pics usually are taken with bad lighting and color correction. Color corrected pic Logo detail
  6. Pls post your pics when you get it. I'm really curious to see if they have fixed the dial.
  7. well, supply and demand. I don't understand why it would be messed up.
  8. I'd not hold my breath on that one. The PO has been around (and selling well) for a long time. The 42mm is fairly accurate. I don't see the factories spending the money on the logo/bezel insert for the 42mm.
  9. Pams usually go for a much larger markup http://www.essential-watches.com/Watch.aspx?ID=32169
  10. This is the V1. So far I have only seen the V2 on Josh's site. Some dealers are saying they have it but I'm yet to see pics. Three important changes on the V2: crystal is fixed, 2 piece caseback, happy feet GONE (apparently), bezel button works. http://www.1-pc8838.com/000omse00088-ploprof-1200m-ssru-black-swiss-2834-p-9108.html
  11. That's a very fine engraving. I think LH was able to get close but his CDG is not very good and the result is still not perfect.
  12. The hand must have slipped a little. You will need to remove it and reset it. Chrono hands are VERY fragile and if you don't have the right tools and experience chances are you will break the stem. Not sure about your question on the HE valve. Those are faux parts. I don't think they can be replaced.
  13. based on the sunken DW that's a 7750. The chrono reset is a common problem with those. Are you talking about the hour totalizer at 6 o'clock or the big sec hand? If it's the hour totalizer that can be easily fixed by reseting the hand. If you haven't done this before, send it out to somebody that can do it for you.
  14. Those straps that are fitted to the case are impossible to find. You will have to get a strap maker to build one for you and I haven't found that person yet. I wanted to do the same for the Graham and gave up. I'd stick with the rubber or the bracelet. Both very good on the SLR
  15. That would be the 232 but that's a large 47mm.
  16. RG is usually a hard choice because the color is usually off. Another thing is the display caseback. The rep movements can't hold a candle to the gens. As for the dial, DSN is pretty good. Another thing to look for on rads is the length of the crown tube. Some cases they are too long.
  17. The domed crystal and the size are WAY off. Almost like too different watches when you see the gen. The rep is just too big and flat. Don't get me wrong for the price it is a nice watch but it can't even pretend it's not a rep.
  18. Sead (supermirrors) is a dealer here too. http://www.rwgforum.com/forum/263-supermirrors/ Vaccum as well. http://www.rwgforum.com/forum/221-vacs-modification-shop/ I'm not sure if Little Hero is building 111's anymore. Best to check the sales area here.
  19. It's a good thing taste varies a lot (otherwise Breitling would be dead ). Each to their own. The part that's interesting to me is the original post was made in 2008 announcing its death and the cartel is AT THE MOMENT releasing new versions of the HBB. For a dead watch it certainly has legs
  20. The sixties is a nice rep but FAR from perfect. The gen is 39mm and the rep is a whopping 43mm Apart from the size, the crystal is the biggest tell. Here's the gen and here's the rep When you get to the back and movement, there's not even a resemblance. The gen is an auto, the rep a manual. The gen has a very unique display caseback, the rep has a flat crystal. Gen Caseback Rep Caseback
